Sorry for the confusion @joedenise. My question mark was for the potato. I thought there was just 1 left for my lunch.

You're right almost all pickles are free. I eat loads as they're an easy, tasty way of upping the Speed and they last longer than fresh vegetables too so good store cupboard standby.
  • Another day on plan.
    breakfast was yog and berries,
lunch, egg Mayo wholemeal roll (2+heb)
dinner, slimming eats stuffed pasta shells - had some more ricotta in freezer so used it as my HEa
used HEa on my milk for tea and coffee and will have some goodies tonight whilst watching the box.
Dead proud of myself today. I’ve had a tough day at work but my emergency kitkat stayed  in my work bag. 😇

    Morning all,

Well done to @Jellybaby and @annabanana82 on your losses, and @beanielou on your STS - excellent xxx

Sorry to hear that about a possible nursing home for your DDad @bubbs but good that he ate and took his meds for your DMum. This must be so exhausting and stressful for you all, so I'm amazed you are eating so well and looking after yourself. Kudos to you xx

We saw the Whitney Houston biopic last night. Good film and loved the music. Spoilt somewhat by two women gassing in the row behind. After about an hour DH went over and remonstrated with them. Getting more and more common now that folks just sit and chat through a movie. Just stay home and stream it FGS!

    Food today:
    B - poached egg, 1 x WM toast, spinach - P, 1/2 HEB, S
    L - JP, baked beans, cheese, LO broccoli/savoy cabbage/carrots/potato made into B&S - 1, Free, HEA, S
D - SW Dirty rice and peas - Free (new recipe)
    HEA - milk
1/2 HEB - hi fi bar
    Syns - 1 planned

I tried the new hi fi bar yesterday. Found it a bit too sweet for my taste - it had a fake toffee smell which was a bit off-putting. Won't be buying a box.

    Have a good day all,

Morning all, so sorry @bubbs that your dad needs to go into a nursing home rather than home with your mum but it's probably for the best as it sounds like he'd be too much for your mum.  The nursing staff in care homes are used to "difficult" people so hopefully it will turn out for the best.  I wouldn't be surprised if it's something to do with not being able to get a decent Care Package together for him to go home.

As @Coxy11 says you're doing well sticking to plan with your food - the skewers look brilliant and your baked apple definitely looks better than mine ever do which is why I don't bother very often and just use my HEB for bread or porridge usually!

@Coxy11  I can never understand why people bother going to the cinema if alll they're going to do is chat rather than watch the film - it would be cheaper to go to a cafe and have a cup of tea or something, after all going to the pictures isn't cheap unless of course they've got free tickets from something like the insurance company that advertises on TV!

It took me a minute or two to work out was B&S was!!!  maybe because I'm not awake enough yet!  Thanks for the feedback on the new hifi bar - doesn't sound as though it will be my cup of tea either.  I found the jam one too sweet.

    Today's plan:

    B - toasted cheese sandwich - HEA2; HEB
    L - eating out but will choose sensibly!  Will probably have a G&T 3 + ?
D - chicken and veg soup, may syn a slice of bread or a couple of crackers to have with it - P; S; F; 3

    HEA1 - milk
    HEA2 - cheese
    HEB - bread
    Syns - G&T 3; bread or crackers 3; lunch ?

    Have a good day everyone.
