Morning all, looks as though it's going to be a dry day today so hopefully get my bedding dried, washed it yesterday but in the washing basket as no room on the airer as expected!

Some good losses and brilliant that Christmas losses are going or have gone.

Good to hear that your dad is more himself now @bubbs; shame your sister and mum couldn't both see him at the same time though.  He's possibly more settled because he knows he'll be going home soon as well as the urine infection clearing up.

Today's plan is an accidental Green day but I'll still only have one HEB even though in theory I could have 2:

    B - porridge, frozen fruit - HEB; S; 1.5
    L - jacket potato, LO chana masala - P; S; F
D - egg, chips, beans, onions, pepper, tomatoes - P; S; F (will chop and roast the veg together in the Remoska)

    HEA - milk
    HEB - porridge
Syns - Sweet Freedom syrup 1.5

    Have a good day everyone.

Morning, from a cold, wet and dark Central Scotland!  No washing being done here @joedenise got bedding to do but will probably have to wash then dry at the local laundrette at the weekend.

Not feeling the love for work this morning but needs must.  Looking forward to getting back to exercise class tonight!

    Today's food:
B - bran flakes (HEXB), f/f Greek yoghurt, raspberries
    L - lentil soup
D - chicken wrapped in bacon medallion, chips, and variety of veg
Syns - none planned at the moment

    Have a good day all.

@joedenise thanks for the sausages info I shop at Sainsburys so I'll pick some of those sausages up. Might have a peek at muscle foods as well I think I've used them previously and the meat was quite tasty

@bubbs what a rubbish situation for you, I hope everything is ok once your dad is back home

I've been on plan all weekend despite wanting to eat the entire kitchen last night after my dinner! Had spaghetti puttanesca with salad from SW website which was lovely but 2 platefuls were not enough. I left the olives and capers out as they're not my thing but should have substituted them with something protein-y. I can tell this is going to be something I struggle with! Somehow didn't go over syns last night amazingly enough but today is another day.

    Today's food:
B - porridge (HEB) with fruit and honey (1)
L - tuna with LTL mayo (1) cucumber, tomato, new potatoes and other bits and bobs
D - chickpea and veg curry with rice and tenderstem

    Syns mini cheddar nibbles (4)

Sorry but I missed your loss yesterday @Jellybaby. Well done.👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 I was glad to get back to my dance class last week, enjoy your Body Magic tonight!

    Good luck for WI @annabanana82.🤞🏼

Washing is on the line here too @joedenise although I did dry some indoors overnight. It's a joy to see the sunshine. 😊

Much better news about your dad @bubbs.👍🏼 Although the infection seems to be the underlying problem, the poor diet can't be helping him.

Well done for resisting last night @cherry_22 .Try keeping something SW friendly in the fridge to snack on. SW say you can eat as much free food as you want although personally I try to keep the balance between free/protein/speed. I find a packet of cold meat useful if I'm feeling peckish, some people keep hard boiled eggs. I like to keep a tub of cottage cheese which is good with an apple sliced into it. There's something more filling eating it with a spoon for some reason. Eating cornichons or baby beetroot straight from the jar is not unknown! 🤣

I've got plenty of leftovers for lunch too @Coxy11. I make sure I cook plenty of veg as I enjoy them so much for lunches. I should have enough to last 2 days with some pickles.

    Today's EE plan-
B- HEB toast, fried eggs (P), tomatoes and mushrooms (S), HEA milk for drinks
    L- cold meat (P), fried veg and pickles (S), 1? potato (F)
D- cold chicken (P), SW chips (F), carrot chips, roast veg (S)
    Syns- 0

What pickles do you think needs synning @maman?  I know you usually have beetroot, cornichons, pickled onions.  The only things I can think of which need synning are piccalilli, sweet pickle and mustard (apart from powder which never tastes the same as ready made for some reason!)

I made the infamous SW tomato soup yesterday and it is surprisingly good.

    So far today I've had
BF Tesco fat free Greek style natural yogurt and berries
Lunch - LO Beef shin with salad
Dinner - I am making Sticky Tofu stir fry (SW App).  Got some Udon Noodles pretty cheaply from ALDI at the weekend.

Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!
