Well done on the loss @bubbs I lost a pound 🙂 here’s to keeping it going and having a loss next week too 🥳

Cold and rainy here so washing is on the airer. Have had a rather lazy day after the usual shopping trip with parents. Saying that, I have cooked a piece of ham for tomorrow’s dinner and prepped the veg too so I can have an even lazier day 😉🤣

Foods been on plan and planning to have a G & T shortly.

Well done on your losses @bubbs and Jellybaby.

Like the new title @maman - similar to what I was thinking.  Can you start a new thread @beanielou from Easter please?  This one's getting a bit long now!  Everyone chats so much LOL!

Well done on your pound loss @Jellybaby.👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

It's good to see us chipping away at the excess weight.  I know we'd all like it to be instant but slow and steady is far better than crash diets.

Thanks for the heads up on the veg @bubbs. I'd forgotten that it happens at Easter as well as Christmas. The timing is perfect as I need to batch cook more swede & carrot mash. I'll take a look at the meat in Sainsburys too, hope the joints aren't too enormous.

Had porridge for a second day running as we seem to have lots of milk to use up. I enjoy it but DH likes to ring the changes.

    Today's EE plan-
B- HEB porridge, HEA milk, berries (S), banana (F)
L- JP (F), cottage cheese, ham (P), spring onion, pickles (S)
D- beef in 'red wine' (P,S), SW roast potatoes (F), many veg (S)
Syns- cornflour 1, weekend wine 😊

Afternoon all, just realised I haven't posted today!  Have had my DD2 here for a few hours and also been down to my friend's house as DH was sorting out some stuff in her garden for her.

Unfortunately I can't make use of the veg wars with going on holiday, although I've now ordered a new under counter freezer which is arriving on Tuesday sometime so hopefully I can get the stuff which is in the outside freezer in that without having to throw anything away and can turn it off.  If there's space it might be worth getting some of the veg and freezing it; maybe even a leg of lamb.  Will have to think about that!

    Today's plan:

    B - fry up - P; S; F; 2
    L - WM roll, burger, onions, chips, mustard - HEB; S; F; 1
    D - chicken tray bake, swede - P; S; F

    HEA - milk
    HEB - roll
Syns - LF sausages 2; LF burger 0.5; tsp mustard 0.5

Hope everyone has had a good day.

Yes @bubbs, that's a good idea especially for the beef. I used the last of the beef cubes from the freezer today.

I realised when I went to prep the casserole that I didn't have celery which is in my usual recipe. I substituted some green leaves from leeks and a pinch of dill and it was fine.

Hope all OK with @Coxy11. Good luck with your walk. 🤗
