@Coxy11  Welcome back from your break.  Glad you had a good time.  Sounds like it was a case of Good when you Can and Careful when you Can't!  I'm sure now you're back on plan you'll shift anything you've put on.

I'm sure your work event will go well.  It's always a worry when you've had to do things like that.  I used to do lots of organisational stuff when I was working and always worried about it but it always seemed to work!

Another amazing haul from the Company Shop @bubbs! I've not been for weeks but have now got DD1 and DGD hooked on the place! It's all your fault.🤣

    I hope everyone is well.

@bubbs I don’t know if you saw my question, but what ice cream maker do you have?

I am going to be buying a new air fryer - my Tefal one has given up. It’s one I’ve had for a few years with the paddle at the bottom and tray at the top. You can’t cook a chicken in it though. I had it when SW used to offer a discount on Tefal.

My Mom has a Ninja that I ordered from Amazon for her. She’s had it about 2.5 years but to my knowledge used it once, and that was only after we nagged her to use it (she wanted me to order it for her). She has offered it to me before, but it’s the one with the pressure cooker, which is the one I don’t want. I think we will try and look in Curry’s at the Ninjas to see what they are like, rather than just going ahead and ordering one.

Been out for some long walks and my legs are aching loads.

Speak to you all later. xx

Morning all, it's looking quite nice weatherise at the moment but it's forecast to rain again later!  In fact it's forecast to rain every day up to and including the weekend with the next dry day being Monday so looks like that's when the next lot of washing will be done.  There will be at least 3 loads by then as the bedding still needs to be done!

@Abbafan1972 - why don't you take up your mum's kind offer of having her Ninja.  Just because it has a pressure cooker function which you don't want doesn't mean you have to use it!  To be honest I'd take it and at least see how you get on with it.  I love my stove top pressure cooker - it makes much better stews than the slow cooker and cooks in about 40 minutes so no need to much around prepping veg first thing in the morning for dinner later that day!

It's WI day today but really don't think it's gone particularly well!  After being P'd off last Wednesday on my scales with a gain of 0.8lb after a week on SP I lost the plot a bit for a couple of days and went way over syns.  Have reined it back and have had about 75-80 syns this week in all which included an evening out and a day out with my friend when alcohol was involved but much more sensible with 2 G&Ts on the evening out and just one on the day out with lunch.

Will come back later with the result of WI and my menu plan as it depends a bit of what I buy after group!

The only known factor at the moment is breakfast will be a plain omelette rather than my usual mushroom one as I've run out of mushrooms!

    Morning all,

@Abbafan1972 a few of my friends have various Ninja models and rave about them. I have a basic Tower model which suits me fine - or should say suits DS2 fine as he's the one that uses it!  Our microwave gave up the ghost recently and I replaced it with a basic model, another item DS couldn't imagine life without - hopefully he'll take everything when he moves out!

Was in bed for 9pm last night was just so tired and it must have been what I needed as I feel loads better this morning.  However, it's a WFH day and going to be a long one, already four online meetings scheduled.

    Today's food:
B - M&S baked apple yoghurt (1.5 for whole tub that I may use throughout the day), fruit salad
L - soft pitta (HEB), prawns, salad (2 syns for homemade cocktail sauce)
D - chicken stir fry with noodles and loads of veg

Hope you all have a smashing day!
