TGTG bags were brilliant today! Each bag contained:
2 boxes strawberries
2 boxes raspberries
pack of green beans
pack of trimmed celery sticks
pack of parsley
1/2 cucumber
2 avocados
Bag of oranges
One bag had pack of pack Chinese gooseberries, 4 jacket potatoes and 6 crusty rolls. The other bag had bag of organic carrots, pack of chopped melon and 6 baps.
Not bad for £3.09 a bag!
Certainly won't need to buy any fruit for a while!0 -
Hi all,
Busy ish day, picked my Son up from uni today, he's home for 3 weeks over Easter :-)
Stopped in the fab Gloucester services, picked up a piece of brisket which looked lean, as well as some very lean stewing steak. I think it's rather well priced for meat, far better quality than the supermarket but without too much price difference.
I realised when I got home that they didn't charge me for the Brisket, feeling a bit bad about that so think I'll try and make a donation to the Trussel fund? I've heard it thoroughly recommended on here.
Plan for today:
B: speed berries and ff yoghurt. 1 skinny crunch 1/2 hex b
L: 2 sweet onion ryvvita, 2 lightest laughing cow triangles, tomatoes, beetroot apple. 1/2 hex b, partial hex a. Muller yoghurt 1/2 synRoast beef, roast pots, sprouts, carrots, peas and swede. Bisto 2 syns
Total syns 2.5
Likely hot chocolate later

Excellent TGTG bags @joedenise. Makes a change to have fresh, healthy foods. 👍
That was some feat of walking yesterday @Abbafan1972. You're certainly not short on Body Magic!
It's so hard on your mum @bubbs. Does she have hospital transport during the week? 🤔 She must be exhausted. ☹️
Definitely have stuffing with the chicken. You need to keep your syns up. 😁
Today's EE plan -
B- HEB toast, baked beans (F), fried egg, bacon (P), HEA milk for drinks
L- cold chicken (P), LO savoury rice (F, S)
D- HB steaks (P, S), SW roast potatoes (F), Speed veg (S)
Syns - weekend wine 😊

Denise great bags 😁😁
Maman she is and with her knees it's not good she can hardly walk some days 😥 some days she has Age UK cars,, you pay the volunteer just for fuel, they obviously know her now as she uses them every week as uses them for medical appointments for herself , they sit and wait as well so as she comes out they just pull up to the door, hospital don't do transport, other days my sisters take her all depends on shifts as one sister does 12 hrs 3 days on the trot, but they all have families so gets difficult if the children are at a club, or parents evening etc.
I never had stuffing but really enjoyed my tea 😋😋Sealed pot challenge number 003 £350 for 2015, 2016 £400 Actual£345, £400 for 2017 Actual £500:T:T £770 for 2018 £1295 for 2019:j:j spc number 22 £1,457Stopped Smoking 22/01/15:D:D::dance::dance:- 5 st 1 1/2lb :dance::dance:0 -

Well done @bubbs, hope you enjoyed your pudding. Another 5 syns. 👍
Glad to hear your mum can get transport when none of you are available. Far better than trekking on buses. Still wearing for her though, she doesn't get much time to herself. Would your dad be OK if you went on your own? 🤔
I thought of having Yorkshires with my dinner but plate was full enough. I did have a tsp of horseradish though. 😋1 -
@bubbs what was in your pudding? It looks lovely.Striving to clear the mortgage before it finishes in Dec 2028 - amount currently owed - £26,322.671

Morning all, a lovely bright but cold morning. It's the only dry day this week according to the forecast so I have done 2 machine loads of washing and emptied the wash bin!
Need to take the motorhome into the garage this morning to have a new cam belt fitted as they weren't able to do it when it went in for service at the end of last year (they were too busy!). No idea how long it's going to be there as they're still very busy but as long as we get it back in time to go away at Easter that's OK. We'll go shopping while we're out to save going out again tomorrow.
Today's plan:
B - toasted cheese sandwich - HEA2; HEB
L - carrot and lentil soup - P; S; F
D - cottage pie, veg - P; S; F
HEA1 - milk
HEA2 - cheese
HEB - bread
Syns - none planned (trying to rein it back in as had a couple of very high syn days!)
Have a good day everyone.

Good morning all, lovely and sunny here, but very chilly, frost overnight.
@beanielou I am so sorry to read about your lost cat, you must be distraught.
Although I am getting my head around the SW plan, using up food already in stock means my Syns have been high many days, but it has to be done, I am doing my best to track everything and will be shopping to suit the plan going forward, I think that I might have to abandon the GF puff pastry that is sitting in the fridge, cannot re-freeze it, although I guess I could make a savoury tart and portion it up to freeze.
WI tomorrow, fingers are crossed and more care meal planning next 2 days.
My BFF was very anti me dieting as I do not have much to use (I have been very poorly in the past and lost too much weight through it - not an eating disorder), she is now convinced I will be OK and is thinking of joining her local group, sadly in a different town too far away to go together.
Have a good day everyone. The best thing about the future is that it comes one day at a time. (Abraham Lincoln)0 -
Morning everyone, a cold, frosty morning here too Denise and glad to be WFH!
Hope @Coxy11 is OK? Been very quiet recently.
Not much else happening here so taking the time to enjoy it!
Today's food:
B - f/f Greek yoghurt, strawberries, raspberries, mango, 1 tbsp Skinny syrup (0.5 syns)
L - l/over mince from yesterday with carrot and turnip mash and peas
D - smoked ham salad with pickles - will either have baked potato or soft pitta (HEB)
Have a good day all
