  • Hi all, it's been a rather wet day here today.

That's such sad news @bubbs, when it's close to home and you see the devastation it causes is just heartbreaking.

I feel like I've eaten loads today, although I've been  on plan all week I feel rather bloated - sneaking suspicion it might be due to my lunch...

B: Blueberry baked oats hex b 1 syn
L: a bowl of baked beans, brown sauce 1 syn and 30g cheddar hex a. Muller light yoghurt .5 syn
D: Chicken and veg paella free

Snacks: skinny crunch (3) 3 plums

Total syns 5.5 plus hot chocolate later 3 syns

Yes, I did think that as I was typing, end of the week the cupboard is almost bare.

Morning all, another bright and windy day so another load of washing done and on the line.  It's forecast to be dry all morning with a chance of rain around md day so hopefully it's windy enough for it to be dry by then.

Have to say I didn't enjoy the line dancing last night.  Found it a bit boring to be honest.  I ended up just sitting there and having a couple of G&Ts as wasn't driving.  It ended up being a late night because the guy who runs the group gave us a lift so we had to wait for him to be ready.  He'd told us it finished at 9.30 and he usually left about 9.45.  It ended up the dancing continued until nearly 10 and it was nearly 10.20 by the time we left!  It's then about 20 minutes to drive back to my friend's house.  DH came down to pick me up so it was probably nearly 11 o'clock by the time we got to bed so later than I usually am.

    So today's plan:

B - porridge, banana - HEB; F; 1 (should have been overnight oats but didn't do them last night and DH didn't think to make them while I was out!)
    L - squash tagine, spicy couscous - P; S; F
    D - Fakeaway KFC rice box - P; S; F; 2

    HEA - milk
    HEB - oats
Syns - 2 tsp Sweet Freedom caramel sauce 1; 0.5 slice WM bread as crumbs 2

    Have a good day everyone.

    Hello all!

@joedenise I did line dancing years and I did enjoy it, but haven’t done it for years.

Last night I had a gain of 1.5lb at WI. Quite expected though, as I hadn’t been good for a lot of the week. Went out to Harvester for Mother’s Day.

Weather has been changeable today, rainy and then sunny. Had some towels on the line and had to rush out and get them in.

    Happy Friday all. x

  • Hi all,

Another busy day at work, missed lunch but didn't really feel hungry either when I remembered.

Very wet and windy here, was hoping to do parkrun tomorrow but might be a bit too muddy for my liking.

No idea which way the scales are going to go Monday, been on plan all week but my heads not really in it, think it might just be too much pressure to get my 5st this month clouding my head.

    Plan today:

B: baked oats made with cappuccino yoghurt (1/2 syn) it was nice, with a bit of coffee essence I think it could sate a craving for coffee cake. But for breakfast I prefer fruit.
    2 plums

    L: zilch

D: cottage pie made by son at school, cabbage, sprouts, peas and sweetcorn - bisto 2 syns

Snack: skinny crunch 3syns, hot chocolate later 3 syns

    Total syns 8.5

Change of plan for dinner!  DH decided he'd rather have fish pie tonight so I'll do something with the chicken tomorrow.  May not be the rice box as DH didn't seem too keen!  I'm out all day tomorrow so no idea what I'll cook but it will need to be reasonably quick as probably won't be home until at least 5!

Ordered some dresses for my holiday recently and they arrived today - size 10 and they fit but think the sizing is a bit generous as usually a 12 but the website chose the correct size by inputting your measurements.
