Afternoon all, been a long day so far!
Took my friend to Canterbury hospital for a check up after her cataract operation a few weeks ago. They gave her a prescription for more drops but went to about 6 or 7 pharmacies and none of them have one of the prescriptions and none available at their suppliers. After contacting the hospital she was told to contact her own GP so when we left her house she was waiting a call from her GP who hopefully will be able to prescribed an alternative and then I'll pick it up from the pharmacy tomorrow or Friday! It's a right palaver!
Well done on your loss @maddiemay. I got to target with mainly 0.5lb losses with the odd lb here and there. I also didn't have a lot to lose.
Glad your dad's appointment went well and he'll be seeing the top liver specialist next week with an operation soon after. Much better than having to wait months.
Don't think the SP week worked for me! I stepped on the scales this morning and they were showing a 0.6lb gain! Just glad I didn't go to group this morning! Will be back to my normal EE days this week!
Today's plan:
B - toasted cheese sandwich - HEA2; HEB
L - ate out - jerk chicken, rice 'n' peas - counting 10 as the chicken was oven baked
D - cottage pie, green beans, peas - P; S; F
HEA1 - milk
HEA2 - cheese
HEB - bread
Syns - jerk chicken 10; half cup cake 7
Over syns by 2 but easily pulled back over the week.

Sorry, but had to grin @ruby_eskimo, when I mentioned last week not daring to have chocolate (thanks everyone for the suggestions given), it was because I seem to have developed a passion/addiction to Tony's Maloney Sea Salt and Almond dark chocolate, part of the reason for the chub I guess and at £3.19 or £3.99 a bar it also makes a mess of the food budget
I will try and resist having any until I have used up most of the higher Syn GF foods in stock, mainly GF bread at 6 syns/50g and the fab GF Pastry pies and pastry blocks. Eye wateringly expensive, but a cut above in quality and only added sparingly to my intake (even less often now).
The best thing about the future is that it comes one day at a time. (Abraham Lincoln)0 -

Morning all, a lovely bright windy day today so machine load of washing on the line. Hopefully it will be dry by lunchtime as it's forecast to rain from 2pm onwards.
My friend has persuaded me to give line dancing a try tonight! Can't say it really appeals but will give it a go - think it's probably a bit too energetic for me! So going to be swapping over lunch and dinner today as need to leave around 5.30pm! Also got an hour of using less electric between 6.30 and 7.30 this evening to save some money on the bill! No idea how much it's worth probably only a few pence but every little helps!!!
So today's plan:
B - toasted cheese sandwich - HEA2; HEB
L - pork steak, mash, green veg - P; S; F
D - scotch egg salad - P; S; F (using Linda McCartney red onion and rosemary sausages)
HEA1 - milk
HEA2 - cheese
HEB - bread
Syns - none planned
Have a good day everyone.

Morning everyone
A friend of mine does line dancing @joedenise and she says it's a really good workout. Have fun!
WFH today so have hung out one load of towels and have bedding in now with another load to follow. Rain forecast from 4pm but it's blowing a gale just now so hopefully everything will dry.

L - cajun chicken pasta salad (3 syns for salad cream)
D - chilli salmon, roasties, roasted broccoli, cauliflower and carrots
Hope you're all having a good day!0 -

STS on the scales yesterday by some form of miracle but I'm taking that and running very fast. Hope to make up for that next week with a good loss!

L- tuna mayo sandwich (1) with salad bits
