@Hundredsandthousands  - Another that does't get Easter eggs.  However it wouldn't actually be a problem for me if they did as I only ever eat a small amount and then I'm satisfied.  I've got an opened bar in the fridge which has been there for over a month.  Not had any for weeks.  I am however really likely Skinny Whip Minis which are 1.5 syns each and usually 1 or 2 of those if enough - particularly the chocolate and hazelnut ones which are really chewy so take quite a long time to eat for a small sweet treat!

Can you ask people not to buy your chocolate or if they do break it up and bag it up in say 5 syn packs and keep in the freezer and just get one bag out a day or the fridge if you're able to leave it alone!

Just having a cuppa and then I'll be off to the kitchen to get the falafels made (the mix is firming up in the fridge) and onto a tray to bake ready for lunch.

@maman I've maybe been a little harsh to myself when I'm saying about the junk food, looking at my food diary its mainly been extra bread / ryvitas / alpen bars but its definitely more than I should be having. Pre-SW I'd have thought nothing of grabbing crisps and a choc bar from the nearest newsagents, so at least that is changing. I work from home 3 days a week, in office for 2 and to be fair to them there's a lot of healthy choices there but there's also a fair amount of Go-ahead bars and Nakd bars and they have a proper coffee machine so there's always the temptation of extra lattes! I do buy low syn snacks mainly for OH and sometimes the 4 syn mini cheddars and 5 syn blue ribands somehow land into my mouth unexpectedly. I just need to have a bl00dy good word with myself!

Last 2 days have been better, plenty of speed food and stayed on plan. We had creamy sausage pasta for 4 syns last night which kept me full until bed time. I was snacking on pickles and salad bits in between lunch and dinner too. Tonight its cheeseburger pasta bake with veg, may end up freezing some as it makes loads.

@Hundredsandthousands had been wondering how you were doing. This time of year's always bad for me here with birthdays and mothers day. We had curry with wine on Sunday night at in-laws which was delicious. I also struggle with Easter however everyone knows we are watching our weight so hoping that there'll be no surprise choc presents - might have to treat myself to a creme egg if I have syns spare that week. We'll be having a roast with family so that should be fairly low syn, I'll just have to watch the wine and pudding intake afterwards!

@joedenise I love the idea of breaking a choc egg into 5 syn bags and freezing it, think I'd have to do that too as treats like that always call out to me from their hiding places 😂

Have a good day everyone whatever you're upto.

They are absolutely delicious but are not in any way, shape or form, SW or WW or calorie counting friendly.

Oh it was so so nice to have one, got to be at least two years, probably more since I last had one.

We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.

I googled a brown derby and got all sorts of results, including a restaurant chain in the US. Could someone post a picture please?

    Thanks.

Good morning all, lovely sunny one here.
First weigh in last evening, lost 1/2 lb. Happy with that as I don't have a big amount to loose.
I always keep well stocked fridge, freezer and cupboards and have not been in the habit of meal planning, particularly as OH and I are retired and very flexible in our day to day lives.

B fruit and yogurt, sausage (chicken), s. egg and toms.
    L Ham salad roll. fruit
D Chicken pasta dish, lots of veg.
Maybe a milky coffee from my milk allowance, snacks more fruit and perhaps HB egg.  Will look closer at the scores on the door later.
    Have a good day.

Well done on the loss @maddiemay onwards and downwards

I'm in self-destruct mode this week.  I have a few things going on at work and family life and when I say it out loud, sounds like excuses so will get the books out later and try and get back into the swing of things. My weight has been yo-yoing for the last few months so need so refocus.  And now that I've put it here, have to do it.

    Today's food:
    B - toast (HEB), jam (2 syns)
L - tuna salad with pickles (1.5 syns for salad cream)
D - gammon steak, chips, carrots, peas, broccoli, sweetcorn

    Have a good day everyone.

Morning all.  I know what you mean @Jellybaby - I may have eaten a whole bar of Tony's Chocolonely chocolate last night, just because I wanted to.  Also trying to draw a line today and get back to it.

Dad's appointment with the consultant went well on Monday - he's apparently a very special case so has been referred to the top liver specialist in the country who wants to see him next week with surgery likely before the end of April.  So it's all moving forward and work are being very nice about me taking time out for him and my mum.

Not a lot of food in the house as we didn't do a shop at the weekend so cheese on toast with some straggly tomatoes for breakfast, lunch will be some soup from the freezer and then I have no idea for dinner - we have things in that I can use but we need to make a trip to the shops for the essentials anyway.

Hope everyone's having a good day!
