@maman I checked the SW sausages and they are classed as Protein so don't think with mine being such high pork content and very low fat should be anything else. Must admit I've cheated on the food diary and put them down as SW sausages but added a tsp of oil for 2 syns so it all balances!
I sent a text to my consultant this morning and she's just said see you next week with your SP loss! We shall see if it's worked then. My scales are still showing STS!
Enjoy your few days away. Where are you off to? Somewhere nice I hope.

Fancy SW deciding their own sausages are 100% protein! 🤣 I like the way you got around it though. I bet yours have far superior ingredients from the local butcher.
We're off to Belfast for a belated birthday break. We should have gone in March 2020 but were cancelled, not for Covid, but because airline went into liquidation! It's effortless as local airport is barely a mile from home. Better late than never!1 -
Thank you all for the warm welcome and the hints and tips, much appreciated
Wed, Thurs and Fri were difficult as I felt cold, tired and hungry, days since are easier and I am beginning to remember some of the notations for my food log. There are a few guesses using the book as a guide e.g. yummy cottage pie from really good local butcher, it was very fatty, but spooned and mopped as much of the excess off as I could and am eating lots of S fruit, veg and salad.
Had the text reminder from the adviser for tomorrow evening. I am being very good and have not yet replaced my very dark chocolate (1-2 squares to help keep my Ferritin up) as don't trust myself yet.The best thing about the future is that it comes one day at a time. (Abraham Lincoln)0 -
You don't have to forego your chocolate @maddiemay. My DH enjoys the 70% cocoa bars from Aldi and thy are only 7 syns for a 25g bar. Try weighing a square to see what yours are.
You did your best with the cottage pie. You'll still be able to enjoy that on SW too, just by switching to 5% mince. Cottage pie is ideal for batch cooking. 😋0 -
@maddiemay - I buy the Fin Carre cheap dark chocolate from Lidl and the squares are just 1 syn each and a couple of those are enough for me for a chocolate hit. The more expensive bars are bigger squares and 1.5 syns each so if I end up with those I just have one square.
Enjoy Belfast @maman. I think you're definitely right about my butchers sausages being much better quality ingredients than the SW ones! I tried those when they first came out but we only ate them once. I did the unthinkable and binned the rest of the pack - they were horrible!
