    Morning all.

Congrats on the loss @annabanana82 - hope your night out was good.

Miller and Carter was lovely last night although not everyone in the restaurant had the same experience - lots of people around us complaining of stale chips (didn't know chips could be stale 🤷‍♀️😆) and cold veg but ours was great!  Feeling very bloated this morning though as I don't think I can really handle a 3 course meal anymore and definitely can't handle the bubbles in diet coke 🤣

Going to have some porridge whenever I'm hungry later and then dinner tonight is called Taco Beans but is basically a veggie bean chilli with rice and salad.

Hope you all have a good weekend - we have some friends coming over tomorrow, then I'm heading back to my parents on Sunday to cook them dinner as I have to then take my dad to see his consultant on Monday (🤞 we'll have a plan / date for his surgery after that).

Well done on the loss @annabanana82 and belated birthday wishes @ruby_eskimo. I love Miller & Carter, it's always a lovely treat.

WFH again but have spent all morning with IT issues - I'm sneaky posting to make sure everything is working OK!! 🤣

    Today's food:
B - toast (HEB) and jam, Kvarg 0.5 syns
L - baked potato, tuna, salad 1.5 syns for salad cream
D - fake KFC, chips, sweetcorn, homemade coleslaw (syns counted when I made it earlier in the week)

Hope you're all having a good day.

Well done on your loss @Abbafan1972.👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 1.5lbs is a good steady loss, it's what I averaged getting to target.

Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr are in their 80s @joedenise, so maybe that tribute band from the IoW is still going strong! 🤣

I can understand that free food wouldn't be acceptable on SP as it's based on sticking to Speed and Protein. What seems a bit more odd is that flavoured yogurts can't be synned, maybe not enough protein compared with Greek.  🤔

At least, cooking for your parents will mean you get to choose what to eat @Jellybaby and @ruby_eskimo. Far safer than eating out. I very rarely have 3 courses either. Probably the only exception is when we go to one of those 'nouvelle cuisine' type restaurants with tiny portions. Then I'll have a cheese board as I'm not a pudding fan.

April 8th will soon come round @Coxy11. 🤞🏼 you can stay in target until then as it'll give you a potential 8 weeks to see off the carbs! That only really matters if you don't want to pay but I see it as a challenge to stay in target.

I've worked  out a detailed meal plan for the four days until we go away. I really don't want to leave fresh veg hanging around and I'll take it as an opportunity to clean out the fridge! 😁

    Today's EE plan-
B- HEB porridge, HEA milk, berries (S), banana (F)
L- hash from fridge raid (F,S), fried egg (P), pickles (S)
D- sausage, SW chips, baked beans (F), onions, mushrooms (S)
Syns- Aldi sausages 1, weekend wine😊

    Morning all,

Raining here so might drive to group for a change. We are seeing BIL and the 2 Mums today - a whistle-stop tour to drop off gifts. I still have the sore throat and have done a covid test but thankfully negative. Just a rotten lurgy then! TOTM is here with a vengeance and home scales show a gain, so expecting to be over target at group!

Glad that DDad is happy with his new PJs @bubbs - it's the small things!!

Morning all, wet and windy here too!

The chances of you being over target are slim @Coxy11 - don't forget you're allowed 3lb either way over your actual target.  If you have put on more than 3lb (unlikely) then you get a week to shift it and get back into target range without paying.

Glad your dad has been better behaved over the last few days and that he's happy with his new PJs.

Need to go to the butchers this morning as have taken the last of the sausages out of the freezer for this weekends breakfasts!  Also going to get some of his low fat burgers as only got another couple in the freezer.

Back to EE for a couple of days - can't have a fry up without beans and as they no longer count as P it'll be a normal EE day for the weekend.

    Today's plan:

    B - fry up with sausage and bacon - P; S; F; 1
L - burger & onions in soft pitta with salad and sliced burger gherkins - HEB; S; 0.5
    D - chicken fajitas, coleslaw - P; S; F; 4.5

    HEA - milk
    HEB - soft pitta
    Syns - sausage 1; burger 0.5; mini wrap 4.5; 2 x Skinny whip mini 3; 0% G&T 0.5

    Have a good day everyone.

    Good luck Coxy,

Dad has not had his pj's or top yet, that's today, just hope he is good today 🤞🤞

    A loss at last @bubbs! Hooray! 🎉

Do try to have plenty of syns this week. I'm sure it helps. Hope today's hospital visit goes well.🤞🏼

I do hope the scales have been kind to you as well @Coxy11 although with you feeling unwell and everything you might get a false reading.

I don't blame you having some EE days over the weekend @joedenise. Hopefully just cutting out some carbs across the week will do the trick.

    Today's EE plan-
B- HEB (half) toast, fried eggs (P), mushrooms and tomatoes (S), HEA milk
L- HEB (half) toast, sardines (P), beetroot and cornichons (S)
D- chicken casserole (P,S,F) with cauli and broccoli (S)
Syns- cornflour 1, half Crunchie 3, weekend wine😊
