Well done @annabanana82 on your 1.5lb loss; it's so frustrating to be just 0.5lb off the next shiny but you'll shift that and more next week!

Well done well done on your loss @annabanana82 - you will get that next shiny next week for sure x

Can you believe that boss rocked up at 2:15pm so my afternoon was frantic and I didn’t leave until 5:30pm. DH cooked and did regular oven chips! I mean what the heck?! He said “oh I thought you could have them now you’re at target!” Errr no!

Well done @annabanana82 and keep plodding as you say @beanielou it’ll come off next week 🙂

I don’t know what to say @bubbs you must all be so stressed. It definitely sounds like an infection but the environment doesn’t seem to be helping either so hopefully they can find your dad a place soon x

Well done on the 1.5lbs @annabanana82 👏👏👏 but Boo! Hiss! to the pesky 0.5 lbs that didn't come off. ☹️

I was convinced it was another infection @bubbs when you said the delirium symptoms were coming back @bubbs. Surely, if you can work that out that the staff can. What harm in doing a test? 🤔 Instead they've put it off so he gets worse. It's shocking. 🤗

Morning all, the bedroom saga is over!  We finally got to sleep in our own bed and had the best night's sleep we've had for a week or more!!!

So sorry that things are so bad for your dad @bubbs.  I really can't understand why they left it so long to test your dad - it just doesn't make sense.  We know from previous experiences that things improve rapidly once he's given antibiotics and it must also be much easier for the nurses to cope with when he's better.  The sooner a place for him is found the better.

Keep plodding @beanielou.  I'm sure you'll get a good loss next week.  A STS is still better than a gain so think positive.

Last day for me before WI and the scales hadn't even moved when I weighed yesterday morning!  The highest day syns I've had was 12.5 so always well within syns.  Will have to see what the group scales say tomorrow but not looking very promising to be honest!

    Today's plan:

    B - toasted cheese sandwich - HEB; HEA2
    L - brunch hash - P; S; F
    D - haddock moilee, rice - P; S; F; 8.5 (another Gousto meal)

    HEA1 - milk
    HEA2 - cheese
    HEB - bread
    Syns - 25g creamed coconut block 8.5; 2 0% G&T 0.5

Another reason to not have the Gousto meals is how high syn most of them are - and I picked out the ones which looked likely to be the lowest syns!

Yesterday's Gousto meal was nothing to write home about and certainly won't be using the recipe again.  My usual KFC plus a sweet and sour sauce would be similar and I can make that virtually syn free!

    Have a good day everyone.

    Morning all,

A cold, frosty start to the day with a smattering of snow when DS2 was leaving for work.  WFH today and don't need to leave the house until 5pm for an appointment.

DS is out tonight so I can please myself for dinner 😁

    Today's plan:
B - f/f Greek yoghurt, strawberries, raspberries and mango
L - soft pitta (HEB) with smoked ham, homemade coleslaw (1.5 syns for salad cream)
D - grilled chicken, chips, mango salsa (SW recipe)

Might have two hifis with coffee at some point.

    Have a good day everyone.
