Morning all, it's forecast to be another dry day today although we have had plenty of rain overnight and the ground is very wet. I'm taking the opportunity of doing a wash to hang on the line. The last load I did stayed on the airer for a couple of days to get dry.
@bubbs - The bed only needs completely filling if we have to drain it for any reason such as the latest time when we needed a new heater because that has to go underneath the bladder liner so needs to be emptied. The only other time we've had to empty it, apart from when we moved, was when the old bladder sprung a leak and I woke up freezing cold because of a soaking wet sheet on my side of the bed!
In order to keep the water inside OK we need to pour 500ml of water conditioner into it once a year (or we could do 250ml every 6 months but annually is easier to remember!). Hopefully this will be the last time we need to empty it for a good while yet - if ever! Will need to order some more conditioner before next year as used the last we had in store to condition it this time.
@maman - I quite agree with you there's never any real explanation about why you have to syn cooked fruit. Like you I can understand juices as there's no body to it so no filling power but the fact you can slice a banana to have in a sandwich doesn't need to be synned but if you mash it and fill a sandwich then it does! It just doesn't make sense.
Today's plan:
B - fry up - P; S; F; 1
L - sloppy Joes in WM roll - HEB; P; S; F
D - smoked basa pie - HEA2; S; P; F
HEA1 - milk
HEA2 - milk/soft cheese
Syns - need to work out how many in the smoked bass pie as it's a Gousto meal
The Gousto meal we had yesterday was really nice and I will definitely be making it again from the recipe card! I still have enough chicken in the freezer left to make it 3 more times. Will need to buy some more panko crumbs as mine ran out a while ago and haven't been replaced yet.
Have a good day everyone.

Hi all,
Sorry to be MIA. The funeral of the young lad on Thursday was just so sad and I've been feeling quite drained since. Didn't help that I was alone Thursday and Friday as DH was away with work.
I lost 1.5lb at group yesterday and called Target. Feel happy where I'm at and will attempt to get to nearer the bottom end of target range before Marrakech in two weeks time.
DD turned up out of the blue yesterday. She had driven back from Brighton to finish with her BF of 3 years after yet another let down. She stayed last night so will see how she is this morning.
I had a JP with baked beans and cheese yesterday out with Mum, but no dinner as DD and I just snacked on crisps and put the world to rights. Feel mighty rough this morning and mouth is like the bottom of a birdcage. Just shows how unused I am to junk food and how rotten it makes me feel.
Back on it today. I have to food shop for the week so will make a plan after my shower - on a go slow at the moment.
Have a good day all,

Good on you calling target @Coxy11. I'm sure you'll get nearer to bottom end in the two weeks you have before Marrakech. How long are you going for?
It can be so hard when kids split up with their partners and you're left to pick up the pieces. Hopefully DD is feeling better this morning.
Change of plan for lunch already DH has said he doesn't want sloppy joes in a roll or a soft pitta and would rather I did it with pasta so will just reheat and stir through hot pasta. I know it works as a pasta bake but I need to use some cheese for tonight's dinner so not going to syn extra cheese!

Well done on calling target @Coxy11 Marrakech sounds a fab holiday.
We were supposed to be going to visit my parents today as it's my Dad's birthday but 3/4 of us have all got colds now so staying away. Annoyingly I was fine yesterday afternoon and made him some Ginger bread cake with lemon icing, not sure if it'll keep in an airtight container until Friday or if I can freeze it?? Any ideas? It's a very moist cake but I need it out of temptations way!!
I was meant to be out for lunch today, but not sure what to make for dinner today? My local tesco was pretty poor on veg yesterday and whilst I don't feel that hungry I'm feeling a need for a good dose of veg.
So I'm going to have to go to a shop, but want something quick and easy to prepare that will also sate my 13 year old fussy child??
Ooh Sausage and mashed veg maybe??Make £2023 in 2023 (#36) £3479.30/£2023

Well done on your loss and calling target @Coxy11. 👏👏👏
Thanks all for the good wishes. I've had a lovely birthday. It's not been too synful either. I had a cooked breakfast, then DD1 came round for coffee. I skipped lunch as out dancing this afternoon with a buffet. I just picked on mostly fruit and veg bits with a little hummus.
DH was determined to make dinner for me but as he's mainly a 'breakfast chef' we had gammon steaks with chips and peas. No speed there but I enjoyed it.
I've had wine and a few crisps tonight but back on plan tomorrow. 😉0
