  • Hi all,

Made it into work today, can't believe it's snowed so hard yet barely anything on the ground.

Food not great today, incredibly short lunch at the conference and all the healthy options on site seem to have disappeared and didn't have time to go off site. Ended up with pop chips and an alpen bar at 7.5syns.

Came home starving, but not gone mad.
I really need something easy to grab, not hex b for my lunch. Usually happy to take salad but not in this weather. Not having something properly or substantial is a trigger for me.

Treating myself to a footlogix pedicure tomorrow so hope the snow doesn't decide to settle

Morning all. We have had some snowfall, but it’s the really wet stuff and I think it’s sleeting now.
WI tonight. I have a bad stomach ache, so I think time of the month is imminent. I think I’m menopausal though, so things are all over the place at the moment. Work will be busy the next 2 days - I have this report I have to do once a month and I have to get it all over to the the director by end of tomorrow. Next week our department (accounts) are in the office, as the auditors are coming in. We don’t know if it will be all week yet (I hope not).

I think I will take my own lunch with me - I’m just thinking what to take. There is a cafe on the ground floor of our building and the last time we were there we all opted for jacket spuds, but as our lunch is 1.00, lots of people go at 12.00 and we only just got in with the jackets before they ran out. Any suggestions what I can take please? With WFH, I tend to just wing it to be honest.

Hope everyone has a good day. Speak to you all later. xx

    Morning all,

Snow has gone and it's raining and generally misogg here. I am attending a funeral at lunchtime - young lad from my youth club and DH's scouts. It's in a church so really hoping it's not a burial :(

Well done on the loss and 1st shiny @cherry_22 really pleased for you :)

Do you have time to knock up a pasta salad @Abbafan1972? Could mix in some tuna, peppers, sweetcorn etc. Guess it depends what you've got in.

I will have a good breakfast to see me through lunchtime. Dinner will be egg and chips - comfort food much needed.

    Have a good day everyone

Morning all, snow didn't settle yesterday but it remained sleety most of the day.  Just rain this morning but it looks horrible outside.  No plans to go out today!

Do you have access to a microwave @Abbafan1972?  If you do I used to take in cooked jacket potato and baked beans and just use the microwave to reheat.  Or do you have a food flask and you could take LOs of the previous night's dinner?  Or a normal flask with a nice hot HM soup or even tinned soup which seem to have become much lower in syns recently due to SW now counting the Free foods in them (at least that was the reason my consultant gave yesterday in group).

Was surprised at how many different Speed foods I had yesterday - I struggled to fit them all in the little box on the Food Diary!  Don't think it will be as many today.  There were loads yesterday because it was vegetable tagine!

    Today's plan:

    B - scrambled eggs and spinach on toast - HEB; P; S
    L - jacket potato, tuna mayo, salad, FF salad dressing - P; S; F; 2
    D - sweet and sour chicken, rice - P; S; F

    HEA - milk
    HEB - bread
Syns - Light mayo 2.  May also have a couple of squares of dark chocolate for 2.

    Have a good day everyone.
