DH noticed the bag of Quorn mince on the side @maman! I was hoping he was too distracted as DS1 was here picking up the pup. I also grated 2 carrots into the mix for some extra speed. It was lovely and there are 2 portions for the freezer.

I'm meant to be in the office tomorrow but we are due snow overnight and sleet all day tomorrow, so thinking I'm better off staying put and keeping warm!

Glad to hear your wound is healing well @beanielou.  I agree with you about ST - that was why I used to do it with my old group.  I just feel now that I need to "live" without the need of such regular WIs.
You are way better than me at saying at target though!

    Morning all,

We have snow! I won't be venturing into the office today as no point putting myself through the freezing weather and doubtless train issues when I can work just as well from here. Hope you don't have to go in @annabanana82 x

DH is away to Birmingham tonight until Friday. He is driving after we've had dinner.

    Food today will be:
B - poached egg, spinach, mushrooms, 1 x WM toast
    L - HM BNS soup, carrot sticks, pickles, 4 x sea salt crackers - S, 4
D - SW prawn and chilli pasta - free - usually do spaghetti but as we had it last night I'll do tricolore pasta that I got from Aldi on Saturday. More expensive that white or wholemeal but fat content was less and makes a change.
    HEA - milk
    HEA - mini babybel
1/2 HEB - skinny crunch bar
    Syns - 4

Really enjoyed the soup and crackers yesterday so repeating it again today as I'm home and I can! I never take soup into the office for fear of bag spillage!

Have a good day everyone and stay warm!

Morning all, no snow here but been a bit sleety.  We had hailstones last night!  Glad I'm not going to have to scrape the windscreen this morning before going to group!

Good idea to WFH @Coxy11, no point in putting yourself the travelling and not knowing whether there will be any trains to get home.  Good luck to your DH driving tonight as think it'll be colder the further north he goes still at least he can keep warm in the car!

Today's plan is actually a Green day although not actually planned that way - it's just the way it's worked out!

    B - mushroom omelette with LO tinned potatoes - P; S; F
    L - toasted cheese sandwich - HEA2; HEB
    D - squash tagine, herbed couscous - P; S; F

    HEA1 - milk
    HEA2 - cheese
    HEB - bread

Syns - none planned but I do have one skinny whip mini left so might have that later 1.5 syns

    Have a good day everyone.

  • Morning everyone, I hope no ones snowed in and keeping warm.

I'm finding it difficult to concentrate on my slimming journey this week with lots of upset....
My sons relationship ended and I'm doing mum duties, visiting him lots and making sure he eats as I'm so worried abt him.
Also my mother is concerning me with her behaviour and personality change so I'm hoping it's not dementia.

I had a dental check yesterday with xrays and all was good but cost me £87 :o
and tomorrow is my long awaited doctors appointment ( its taken 6 weeks to be seen) to see what's wrong with my foot.

My diets been all over the place this week, missing meals then eating SW meals and then eating a normal meal but I weighed in this morning and have lost 5.5lb = Total 12.5lb in 3 weeks so fingers crossed this week will see me reach my first stone award.

Morning all.  We also have snow here (and quite a few inches by the looks of things out the window!)  Supposed to be in the office tomorrow but might stay at home if it's like this.  It's still coming down, although more of a constant flurry than anything too heavy.

We managed to actually get Eurovision tickets - I was so amazed when ticketmaster put me in the queue at number 362 🥳  Star week has arrived a little early so no wonder I was feeling a little meh the last few days.  Had some porridge with banana for breakfast, lunch is going to be soup and dinner is based off a Gousto meal we had for Korean fried chicken with rice and a crunchy salad.

Hope everyone has a good day, stay warm!
