Wow great loss @Hundredsandthousands but look after yourself too, you've got a lot on

Congrats with the Euro tix @ruby_eskimo saw a news bulletin last night showing a few people who'd been successful.

Heavy snow is forecast for tomorrow night here so one of the few times I'm happy to be WFH. Unfortunately, DS2 might have to dig his car out if the forecast is correct.  My car's being MOT'd today and just been told I need a new exhaust, it's split in two and was ready to fall off apparently!

    Today's food:
    B - f/f Greek yoghurt, fresh apricots
L - pea and ham soup, soft pitta (HEB) with chicken salad
D - chilli salmon, cubed potatoes, broccoli, carrots, sweetcorn

    Stay warm everyone.

Back from group and there was plenty of snow there!  It's surprising what a difference a few miles makes!  Did a bit of shopping which was still on the list.  I always buy my UHT milk in Lidl in a box of 12, today was only allowed 10!  Assume that means they're having a problem getting hold of it although not seen any shortages.

Good news that you got Eurovision tickets @ruby_eskimo.  Have you already arranged accommodation in Liverpool?  I ordered a Gousto box this week with 70% off - 16 portions for £14.40.  Won't be ordering any more though as think they are extremely expensive.  Hope they're OK.

It was another STS this week so consultant has suggested a food diary for this week mainly because I'm a bit P'd off about it as I was nowhere near 105 syns this week; more like 70 so average 10 a day.  For some reason doing a food diary for the consultant seems to end in a loss so we shall see!

Well done on the loss @Hundredsandthousands - hope things get a little easier for you soon, and make sure you take some time for yourself while you're helping everyone else.

Yep accommodation was booked back in November @joedenise when they had the shortlist of the 4 main cities in the running.  We basically booked a bunch of air bnb's that allowed free cancellation and then just kept the Liverpool one and cancelled the ones that we didn't need 👍  Hope you enjoy your Gousto meals.  I agree that they're expensive but usually only buy when we have an offer and we need them e.g. before and after holidays so I have one less thing to worry about!

Snow is still coming down and DH braved the bus into town earlier and said it wasn't too bad.  Still undecided about going into the office tomorrow.

That's really encouraging @Hundredsandthousands. If SW scales are kind you'll be well on the way to a stone in a month! Amazing! 👍

Good luck with the food diary @joedenise. They can help. Hope it helps you!

Congratulations on getting the Eurovision tickets @ruby_eskimo. Always good to have something to look forward to. 😊

Are there syns in the chilli salmon @Jellybaby? I know there are in many, unless you are making it yourself. 🤔

    Menu to follow ASAP.

You've got a lot on atm @Hundredsandthousands - well done on the loss x Can you get your DMum a GP appointment for the test they do for memory. I know it's so hard to actually see a GP these days. Your poor DS - I hope he's okay - and I'm sure he appreciates your support x

Well done on the tickets @ruby_eskimo I am very jealous!

Annoying about the STS @joedenise when you've been so good. I was going to say that DSis in Tunstall and DS1 in Maidstone had snow so maybe because you're on the island it's slightly warmer?

Boo to the replacement exhaust @Jellybaby - so annoying spending money on things like that!

I was saying to DH earlier that we have a massive collection of lightbulbs in the cupboard of doom in the kitchen - you know the one - batteries, tape, candles and random carp. Anyway he was explaining that due to me(?) buying new light fittings for the hallway, we now have to buy another different type! I was answering back when he managed to take the panini press out of the cupboard and simultaneously knock the glass blender jug onto our tiled floor - smashed to smithereens! Clumsy eeejit !!!

No syns, just adding some chilli flakes with soy sauce and a few sprays of frylight.

    Hi everyone

A very surprising WI this morning showing me 2.5lbs lighter and gaining my lovely 1 stone award! I'm noticing my jeans feeling a lot looser now so hopefully it won't be long until I can start fitting into the lower size clothes in my wardrobe.

You're doing so well @Hundredsandthousands especially with life chucking curveballs at you. No doubt you'll get that 1 stone award soon.

My day off today but stuck indoors as we had more snow overnight and hailstones this morning so not been very far. Even the dog wasn't keen on a big walk this morning! Its meant I can catch up on housework and have some cosy time on sofa with my book though so can't grumble.

Well done @cherry_22 2.5lb loss is a great loss and to get your 1 stone shiney as well is brilliant.

Agree with other @Hundredsandthousands you are doing well particularly with all the various things which are happening around you.

@maman - for some reason food diaries usually mean a good loss for me - I really don't understand it as I always use the online food diary to keep track of my syns etc so lets hope it works this week.  Would really like to get down to my actual target or below before we go away mid April so only 5 more WIs until then.  Half lb a week would actually do it!

That's an excellent result @cherry_22! Delighted for you. 👏👏👏

Grrr to DH breaking the blender jug @Coxy11. ☹️

Great idea to flavour the salmon yourself @Jellybaby. 👍

I'm finishing today on just over 20 syns. I'm pleased to have stayed 100% on plan and feeling quite slim. Next week will be a very different story but only for a few meals not the whole week! 🤣

    Today's EE plan -
B- HEB toast, scrambled eggs (P), HEA milk for drinks
L- JP (F), tuna (P), spring onions, pickles, tomatoes (S)
D- sausages, mash, LO gravy (F), onions, carrots, cauli, broccoli, runner beans (S)
Syns - Aldi sausages 1, LTL mayo 1
