  • So what do you suggest, just ignore these letters forever? In case they take me to court (which you say they won't) do i need to hire a solicitor to fight my case? i heard its quite expensive to hire a solicitor... but i know you guys will guide me perfectly!
  • its just that do you know anyone who has not paid heed to the letters and got away winning?
Pretty much everyone.  We have been ignoring debt letters here for more than the 15 years since I started posting on this board. No-one PAYS Debt Recovery Plus nor takes them seriously!

What do you mean "got away with"?

What do you think there is to get away with?  You've done nothing wrong.  The industry is rotten to the core and even MPs know it's a scam.

Did you miss the Debt Recovery Plus letter collections shown in the 4th post of the NEWBIES thread?

Did you miss all the threads already showing us that exact tedious letter?

Did you search the forum for Debt Recovery Plus Andrew Hunt to have a laugh?

Try a Google image search for 'Debt Recovery Plus parking letter'...click on the forum results...

Please show us anyone who has paid Debt Recovery Plus (not people on Facebook who thought they had to.. ).

Did you look at Debt Recovery Plus on Trustpilot?!!

    NO PHONING THEM.
another thing, when i first got the letter from Euro Carpark about parking charges, i did not appeal using a proper template; i had just sent them mails trying to prove my case... i anyways have all the mails i sent them.

Here's a selection of the replies you have received on this thread...

Just ignore them. You know this from reading the fourth post of the NEWBIES FAQS thread.
Have you read the fourth post of the NEWBIES thread yet?

Have you complained to your MP?

Then report them to the BPA for misrepresentation of authority a private parking company should not be referring to "fines" in any of its communications.
    What was BPA's response?
I also asked that question in the early hours of this morning, but appears to have been overlooked.

Please read again @Coupon-mad's post on your thread at lunchtime today.
I won't quote it here but there is a lot of good information there.

Hopefully all that stuff answers your question - "So what do you suggest, just ignore these letters forever?".

You don't need a solicitor even if they try a claim.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Then you write to your MP who is

    Rebecca Pow

Contact details (email address) in link above

Write to her and complain and ask her to contact her colleague Richard Drax (MP for South Dorset) to complain about the faulty parking machines and ANPR cameras being used by private parking companies in his area to raise fake parking charges.

  • YES ... Rebecca Pow is the MP to contact

You must also show her the scam DRP letter because government wants these con artists banned with their fake add-ons

And, that DRP letter is just complete rubbish, full of lies

Andrew .. the so called legal manager, SHOULD be very ashamed of himself putting his signature to this mega scam. A very sad Andrew working for a money scammer .... NOT GOOD FOR HIS CV

Everyone should ignore the junk DRP, NASTY VERMIN FROM THE SEWERS

  • Hi everyone, i was dormant for a while since they had stopped sending me letters to pay up the fine. Just last week (after 8 months) i got a similar letter once again asking me to pay the fine. I ignored it but just today (Oct 02) i got a letter from a new company GCTT stating that this is the last chance or they will forward this is to QDR solicitors because of which the fine money will also go up.  Is this getting serious?
