  • Hi guys... its been a while... i again got a letter from these people asking me to pay the parking charges. It says this is a pre-legal action warning before its handed over to their legal team. should i call the debt recovery team and talk to them? i already sent them a mail to give me valid proof in pictures from their camera that i had not displayed the parking receipt on the dashboard and they have not responded to it.  I sent the same email to Euro carpark as well and they replied stating that debt recovery team is handling this, so contact them. can i post a copy of the letter for you to see? im getting stressed out because of these letters...

Please re-read the first reply you received on this thread.

What did the BPA say when you complained - as suggested by @fisherjim?

Yup, the overwhelming majority of posters on here. Ignore the debt collectors. Wait for the Letter before (or of) Claim (or Action) from a solicitor. Then follow the advice on here. In the meantime, read lots of other posts to get a fuller idea of this scam.

Tormenting you with letters is all that a debt collector CAN do and that's exactly why they do it wise up it's a scam.

Im quite new to UK and these things really do stress us out.... im so glad that this forum exists and all you guys are such angels in disguise responding to people like me even though you have been doing the same from such a long time... every time i see a response to my issue, it really relieves me, till i receive a next letter. A friend of mine advised me to just pay it off and get rid of the unwanted stress. But its our hard-earned money (I work with the NHS) and for no mistake of ours... Bless you guys for taking time out to help others!
