Hi, we received a letter from DCBL stating....
"In order to assist the Court in achieving its overriding objective, our Client may be prepared to make an offer to conclude this matter. A settlement at this stage would avoid further potential costs being incurred. We therefore ask that you call us (with a phone no.) as soon as possible to discuss this further."

The N180 DQ form will be posted to you by the CNBC in Northampton, plus they will update the claim history accordingly, so you are waiting for it to arrive in the post from the CNBC2 -
just a quick question; my wife is the owner of the car involved. Can she transfer the ownership of car to my name, while these proceedings are going on or should we wait for a conclusion to this issue and then transfer?0
-
"Owner" has no meaning in these proceedings. Only "Keeper" or "Driver".
The Keeper is the person who has received the PCN if it is a postal one. The Keeper may also be the Driver but the PPC will not know that unless the Keeper blabs it, inadvertently or otherwise.
So, no idea what you mean by "transferring ownership" means. Changing the name of the registered keeper at this stage is irrelevant so please stop trying to overthink this.3 -

It has no effect in the court claim. The named defendant can't be changed now.

she is the owner of this car (which is manual and most of the time I'm the driver) and she wants to buy an automatic car (one with more features) for herself. So i can have the existing car in my name. Hope this makes sense.0

It's irrelevant who is on the V51
