NSD #14 today

I exclude them as well, they are already budgeted for when I get paid and the money is transferred over to my DD account to handle them so I consider that I've already "spent" that money (even if it takes 3+ weeks to be debited from that account).SueP19 said:4 -
That's a really good point that they are spent already 👍GeorgianaCavendish said:

Yes they're definitely out! It's part of the rules: "It is fine to exclude necessary expenses eg petrol, groceries, pet food, etc, when it comes to deciding what is and isn't an NSD. It is also completely fine to exclude automated or recurring payments such as bills, mortgage or direct debits." Although I guess people could include a subscription or recurring payment if they felt it was an extravagance? But in general definitely leave out direct debitsSueP19 said:Query.....do most of ypu exclude dd's? Not sure what to do

I exclude cat food but if I choose to buy her a new toy then I would have to count it sadly.I am a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Mortgage Free Wannabe & Local Money Saving Scotland & Disability Money Matters.
