Charley I love those cactus! Was it a kit, or just a pattern?

Hi DAL this is a kit by the Historical Sampler Co. Glad you like it.

    Morning all!

Sorry for my absence. Work is horribly busy and we've had a few busy weekends too so I haven't been able to update.

Lovely birth sampler @Madquilter59 and many congratulations on the new arrival xx
Gosh the colours are amazing @Drawingaline - I've never been brave enough to use black aida - eyes are too bad!
    Lovely Seascape updates @nmm x
The cactus design is lovely @Charly27 - almost done!!

I have done a little bit more on the Haberdashery Shop - photo to follow. I joined the work lunchtime crafting group last Tuesday despite being busy - just though S*D it! Was very hard to sit at my desk and cross stitch without my magnifier lamp! Only managed about 20 stitches. I definitely need a knitting or crochet project to do alongside this as need some sort of boost/quick make to keep me motivated.

Today I will be marking those who are absent from work so their pay and pension is deducted. What a sh***y job. Also have 3 "sorry you won't have a job after the end of March" letters to get out. Morale is at rock bottom in the office. I've had an approach to attend an event about being a SW consultant. You basically buy a franchise. Not sure it's for me but might go along for the tea and low fat snacks on Sunday!.

    Have a good day all

Coxy, sorry to hear that work has been so rubbish. Hard to enjoy docking people’s pay and sending out redundancy letters.
Sure there will be something that has your name on it even if it doesn’t turn out to be SW.
Progress on the haberdashery shop, it’s a lovely design.
I’ve got to keep on with the cactus as I’m itching to start something new!

Charly, almost there with the cactus, can't wait to see it finished.

Coxy, sorry work is rubbish atm, pleased you went to the craft group, i always do a mindless project like granny squares, haha. Brilliant place to start on the haberdashery shop, looks like a fun chart.

Drawingaline, lovely update, hope you finish it quick so you can start your next project.

Latest update on Seascape, almost completed page 2, hopefully this week sometime. Still going to my craft groups, got a craft sale on in March so need to make a few items for that.

Great progress Nmm. Been a rubbish week for me from all angles including cross stitch! Not much progress on the cactus 🌵
FIL fell and fractured his hip and cracked his ribs which punctured his lung last Sunday morning and it hasn’t gone well for him.
He suffered from post operative delusions- I didn’t even know that was a thing! Now refusing food, water, antibiotics, pain relief, insulin…. Wouldn’t even talk to my DH or me today.
We’ve got a few days leave over half term which is useful and much needed and have put the two dogs in kennels so we can have a lie in or two.
Good news, my two lovely colleagues ( both Maths teachers) are expecting their first baby in July so of course I had to buy a kit. It’s called ‘count with me’ by the historical sampler company. Guess what I’m stitching next?
