Coxy, i'm the same its hard going from crochet to cross stitch, my friends are shocked at how slow cross stitch is, haha.

Latest seascape update, i'm pleased it was mostly large chunks of colour :)

Work in progress. Almost a quarter completed. Remembering how much i hate the satin threads.

Really vibrant colours drawingaline, i hate black aida only used it once for a tiger and i had to stitch the black stripes!!! How do you find using your hoop? i switched to R&R Clip frames and never looked back, now using the lap frame version.

    Congratulations Madquilter. Lovely finish.
DAL colours are stunning. I have a project to be stitched on black, hoping to do it in the summer when it’s easier on the eyes maybe!
I’m still working on Cactus, cactus 5 just needs light green stripes and the pot infilled white. It was a prickly subject with constant frogging!
Then I have the RH border and stitch the middle.
    Hope you are all well.

I never used to even use a hoop! Only bought one when I started doing larger projects. I have a range of them, but only ever seem to use the same one. Will have to look at the clip frames.

Looking at that picture makes me realise how messy some of my stitches are. And the satin threads go really fluffy.
