DaL looking really good. Here’s my update, number 9 finished and not too much left on number 8. Grid lines, two needle minders and three threaded needles for things like the bees and butterflies make it easier to pick up and put down.

Hello everyone, long time no posting - apologies!

Lovely finish on the peacock @Drawingaline - just stunning. You've made good progress on your next project already! Puts me to shame....

Great progress on the cats @daisy_1571 - I love the vibrancy of the colours x

Lovely updates on the sampler @Charly27 - I love HSC projects as they are quite methodical. I STILL need to frame the Rudolf sampler I finished in 2021!!

I have news in that I've actually done some stitching lately - I know right, don't faint! I picked up my Haberdashery Shop design over the last BH weekend. Photo of progress will follow from my phone. SIL (married to DH's brother) is very ill and it's a bit touch and go. It's anorexia - totally preventable if her DH would get his head out of his !!!! She's less than 5st atm, receiving some treatment and it's all quite stressful. My stitching has been a godsend to take my mind off things.

Anyway, sorry for the grim post. Hope everyone is doing okay? Not much sign of summer her atm. We are off to Suffolk on Saturday for a week in a cottage with my DDad. Hoping to visit some nice places and do a bit of retail therapy whilst there.

DAL that’s so pretty. I’ll post an update of count with me. Have finished the green and white checkered border and the second owl 🦉 inside and started number two - tortoises this time. Also started the top border. Hope all are well, my busiest time of year so everything has been on hold for the last week weeks. Hasn’t stopped me planning another project not even on my list! No hope ….

Hi all,

Great WIP @Drawingaline - really pretty colours.

I managed some stitching on Tuesday night. Was feeling really anxious about work and needed my craft to take my mind off it. My VR application has been scored so now the team have to do some modelling to see who is to actually be offered. Probably won't find out until August. DH still horrified at the thought of me looking for work but I'm strangely calm about it.

I've been looking at Christmas card designs and have my eye on a couple. Didn't partake in our little swop last year so hoping I can do so this time around. I know it's a bit early to speak of it yet, so apologies!

Not a lot of change to my WIP Haberdashery Shop, so I won't post a photo just yet.
