Sending big hugs @beanielou, & hope the wait will be over very soon 🤞🤞🤞
NSD#7 finally!
Had a lie in, awoke to a very still day. Did YWA, then thought about walking up to my friend's farm to photograph the memory bear in a tractor (as it's for a farmer's wife), but was piddling it down with rain, so I stayed home! Did some sorting & tidying, listed a few things on selling sites. Counted up my 20p collection, so £50 towards our holiday 😃 the rain turned to snow mid-afternoon. Was a bit stressful driving to the airport & back. DS1's flight to Glasgow was delayed, luckily his next flight isn't til tomorrow morning. It's the first time he's flown since going on a school trip when he was 11, so a bit nerve wracking. He's never been abroad before either, so I'll be glad once he gets there, & then comes home. He's promised to txt regularly to let me know he's ok. Think he's had his eyes opened at the airport in Glasgow, said he saw a man fighting a policeman! Don't get much of that on our island. Had a nice bath, then watched the Sarah Lancashire programme, really enjoying it.
Grateful for safe driving, safe flying, DS updates so far, his boss giving him some Euros, my 20p collection being bigger than I'd thoughtUse it up, wear it out
Make do or do without!
If you see someone without a smile, give them one of yours 😃

Hi all,
Goodness...I have realized I have't been here almost all week. I am at NSD#10 - very pleased with that.
I fell off a bit of a cliff this week, with commuting, and caught up in a fantasy of buying a funny little house - worked out how and when I could get a 5% deposit (pricey) and asked for a viewing - it was under offer. Just as well really.
Literally unable to do more than the bare minimum over the weekend - bang went my consistency!
Grateful for the walk across London Bridge, having enough food to not need to go to sianbugs / getting deliveroo, and that meant I didn't buy wine, my yoga teacher changing the pricing plan for remote and in-person sessions.3-month emergency fund (Cash ISA & PBs): £4744/ £6,000

DrCarrie, be kind to yourself. Consistency isn't always getting it right, it's most of the time/more often than not. And you are doing that. Hugs.
