Yes @ldee love the feeling of a new notepad!! And well done on that charity bargain, I’m envious.
@beanie that sounds hard, at least you don’t have too much longer to wait.Yesterday I felt much better. Meditation and morning pages done and cardio session in the gym at lunchtime. making good progress with my 2 books that I have on the go. I have been finding it difficult recently to read for fun (I think this is because my job largely consists of reading) but this seems to be changing…. Maybe because im spending less time mindlessly scrolling on instantgr@m and tw1tser?!No vices were consumed (alcohol, sweets, social media!!)
still on nsd 1 as bf did a top up shop. Must organise this better. Also bf and I booked train tickets to Seville for April (€60 each)
lunch was pesto pasta and bf made a batch of bean stew for dinner which was delicious.
Grateful for my job which I do like most of the time, for the free gym at work and for making progress with some good habits.Student loan £5655

Good morning, gosh this cold is just dragging on. Seems to be the same for everyone else too. Was in bed before the kids last night. Still not right but slightly better.
Will still go to the gym for a leisurely cycle and a free shower. Today will also be an NSD, yesterday wasn't as I spend the rest of this weeks budget on bread, some veg and crisps.
An ex summer student of mine emailed me asking me to be a referee on an application and telling me how much a benefit the time with me in the lab was. Always nice to hear.

Morning all!!
I am going to the recycling centre (aka The Tip ) this morning, doing some cheap shopping, volunteering at 12 pm and then paid working from 4pm.
I have updated my diary with the times DH is out of the house teaching next week when I am in it. I cannot tidy and remove things while he is here. It does not work. So I will just work around him.
This ends now.4/10/22One Year Mortgage Free Yay!

Just a quick check in from me today. Just back from the hospital . The appointment only took an hour and a half as opposed to the four hours it said on the blurb they sent me. I think I've had every test known to man. I'm a very happy and relieved to say that the results are in the main very positive. A biopsy has been taken just in case. Wonderful, wonderful NHS. Doctors, nurses, receptionists, everybody! So lovely and caring.
Local anaesthetic beginning to wear off so some pain killers and I'll catch up with you all tomorrow. xxxHave adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.10 -
Not even half way through dry January and DH asked me if I want a drink! I said no. Proud of myself ☺️DEBT 02/25: total £6100 Debt free date 12/259

@greent it should be? It's an amazon purchase so will have to check their t's and c's but it shouldn't be playing up when it's less than 6 months old... I really notice when I don't use it too.Today has been a NSD finally! I did have to get a prescription but as its a medical expense I'm not counting it.Worked from home this morning, woke up a little bit before my alarm but not too early. Went for a walk before starting work. Worked from home for a bit then has to drive 40 miles to a meeting. Got stuck in a torrential downpour in the rain coming home but made it safely back. Had physio today, got given different instructions to the previous one, slightly frustrating but we'll go with it!OH bought us pizza for dinner from the little van that parks across the road from our house (it's almost too tempting when the smell wafts in!). It was lovely. Need to do pilates later and then get ready for work tomorrow.NSD's - 5Healthy food days - 8Workouts this week - 48

Evening turtles, nearly Friday!
Productive day in work then home to do 2 loads of washing, pick up the shopping, fuel in the car & then cook tea not an NSD so still 4/15 hopefully will be one tomorrow.
Feels cold here tonight, might be because we’ve all been out all day so no heating has been on so it’s just taking a while to feel warm.
Still struggling to find suitable flights for Oz in April. My suggestion to move our dates until the summer holidays are not well received so not sure how to solve it!DS is so tired, the back to school week is really catching up. Feels like we are all just wishing the days away until the weekend!Accounts all were they should be & grocery shop £10 under budget. The fridge & cupboards are looking boring and sad now they’ve returned to pre December levels!
I’m getting impatient with my DFD countdown so added the weeks as well as months so I can reduce something more often to try & keep me motivated.Lightbulb moment - 17/08/2017 £17,033. Current CC debt £0.00 DFD 31/7/24 🥳. Member #8 of Fiver Friday Challenge £175/£26010
