I have totally de-Christmas’d the house and it feels good. I have a car full for the charity shop, tip and bottle bank tomorrow. TD is on, DW is on and I’m going to watch a Harry Potter in bed.

Sorted the wellies and threw many away. Have three pairs to wear, plus the ones I've been using. Glued and patched two pairs, i hate to throw them away until the soles go, so patched the tops. Helped with another four corn dollies, what have i started? Hoovered all the carpets, yes ALL of them. don't often do both in the same day!

Tomorrow I'm planning to weed the beds in the tunnel, water said beds and remove all the cobwebs i can find in the house.

hope Santa has been good to everyone. 

Piggers happy birthday!  (better late than never) 

It’s silly season at work just now. I just keep telling myself I’m nearly there and a rest is coming. 

I have been flying as much as possible but I’m working 6 days so it’s the bare minimum.  I’ve got the WM on and the winterdyke is full and I’m hoping to get the full place cleaned between  tomorrow and Saturday. DD has done her own room today and managed to mess the rest of the house. To be fair DS1 was putting shelves up for her and building furniture so it wasn’t all her mess. 

Off to try to chill for a bit before bed xx

Ironed what was on the line today and therefore not quite dry.  Recycling bins out, DD took the heavy one.  

Fingers crossed chemo goes well tomorrow.

Fingers crossed that your chemo goes well today Valli.
As a minimum I'm going to sort out admin this morning and I'm going to change the bedding today.  DH is going to help turn the mattress.
Still babysitting here until tomorrow afternoon so that may be it.

No qualms here about the morning ahead at work - I've been treated very gently so far - but 🤞 that my car starts. 

I'm up, dressed, made my bed, eaten breakfast, supped a brew, and I'll feed the birds before I go.

Awwww Pops just texted to say he's up if I need a lift. Bless him.

PS DS is 30 today. How did that happen 😳? And GF has put a post on FB saying she's glad he's hers!!! Excuse me. I think she'll find he's MINE. Who am I kidding? My baby is all grown up and living with another woman. As long as he's happy I can live with that I guess 🤣  And breathe 😉

DSiL and BiL dropping by for food on their way home from HB land. The sc will be going on shortly, to take away any stress on timings.
The house needs attention. I need to get this Christmas stuff down. Getting stressed about DD’s loose plans for NYE. Happy for her to go out with friends, not so happy about the train travel involved and going to the big city for their celebrations. To quote Round……and breathe….

Round DS2 is 22 on Monday.  He will always be my boy, especially as he is the youngest of the two.  Happy Birthday to yours.

So today my parents and Mum in Law are coming for tea, we have waited to give me a chance of getting rid of this lurgy, and I do feel better this morning - although my appetite has still not returned.  This means I cant deChristmas the house just yet, but I am looking forward to having them over.

Wet and windy again, not much chance of doing anything outdoors even if I felt like it!  Need to hoover the LR, get things ready for visitors, and potter.  Tomorrow DS2 goes back to the big city and we will celebrate NYE quietly at home.  Visiting parents on NY Day then will be getting ready for back to work and normal life.
