Morning ladies
Round I’m firmly with you in spirit honey xxx
Iona have a super super day you totally deserve it lovely lady xx
Mumtoomany - so happy to see you back on here. The ewes are fab thank you, so tame and love eating out of our hands. We haven’t got them scanned, I may live to regret that, but it seems a fun way to do it 🤷♀️ 🤣🤣
I feel I should clarify my post… I am not flippantly saying s o d off to work, I need pennies in the bank, but I had just taken on more than I should have ‘remember NO is a complete sentence’ - because I get put on the spot and just say yes. People often take advantage and I let them.
I probably didn’t need to clarify that as I know you all absolutely get it, but the gremlins in my head told me I must…
Both fires cleaned out, living room one re lit. WM on, DD still in bed, DS outside collecting eggs and topping up hay.
We are forecast heavy rain from noon so a day at home is on the cards. Big love to you all xx

Good Morning everyone, I have finally surfaced and ready to do battle with the tip I call home!! What a dreadful day weather-wise, but hey ho no excuse for sitting here in my long awaited new dressing gown, I need to feed myself to take my meds. I hate eating early morning grrrr . Right, off to put WM on and sort out towels from airer, it's a slow start I know, but necessary lol
Good Flying ladies, thanks for the lists I shall try to be a better Flylady this year,m and that is as close as I get to a New Years Resolution

PICC line flushed, sent to a different dept where facemasks aren't a thing...eek
Got text to remind me about appointment in Steel City on Friday which should have been cancelled because I'm now having chemo in Spire town.
Just done a bit of work stuff.
I might well be putting the next thread up tomorrow - chemo Friday; busy weekend planned with the possibility I might be too busy...decisions decisions...Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

It sounds as if you are all having good news/good decisions and some good things happening......great.
We had a fairly tedious journey home yesterday; traffic and rain (both predictable) but broke the journey with a pleasant lunch and chat with DB and SIL who live about half way between Mum's and our home. Unloaded vast amounts of boxes and bags from the car, just put anything food-like and perishable in the fridge then had a relaxing evening with salad and catchup of "It's a Wonderful Life".
Today's plan was for me to swim then go to a couple of sales while Mr N went to the gym; however wind and rain precluded the lake sounding attractive (far less the changing in the car park aspect) so I had a lie-in instead, before tacking the restoring the house from a tip to a lovely place to celebrate the rest of the festive season (which for me lasts until the final second of 12th night).
- one load through washing machine, hung on rack
- washbag emptied and items put away
- ordered gf flour as, having ordered some just before Christmas, a 20% off voucher landed in my inbox and as it's still on 10% topcashback as well, was worth stocking up.
- checked train strikes and 'what's on' in London for when BIL comes up on Sunday.
- wrote 'thank you' letter to SIL and step brother for their present
- started unpacking suitcase.
This afternoon more of the same although I'm still tempted to zip in to the sales as there are 3 things I definitely need.Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.11 -
Table cleared, girls fed.
Bin's brought in.. one was 3 houses in That -> direction.. I know it is ours, it is honking of cat wee.
Another roll of green bags left.. because we need 6 right??? That is probably a years worth! lol
Back to knitting mittens..

Thank you to all who cheered me on this morning. It is greatly appreciated.❤ First half day done. Successfully. Cor I'm tired now. 😴
Birthday cards and presents dropped off at DS's as planned. His birthday isn't until Friday (30 on the 30th 🙂) but they'll be out celebrating in pigpen land from tomorrow until Saturday.
Called in at Mr C00p for a sandwich for my lunch (I felt I'd earned it) and bread buns for lunches the rest of the week.
Now I'm home and slowly unwinding.
Love to all.

Ferrrllllinggggg…..all the so-called useful bits of magazines and bits and bobs stashed by the side of the armchair. Am worried that I might be decluttering…😳

Well done on your first day back Round.I too have a recipe hoarding problem Fayolle, and the worst of it is I can never find the recipe I want, so I print off another copy and so there's another bit of paper to add to the file, which is covered in scraps of paper that say things like '6 tbsps = 1/3 cup' and marmite smears.Desk top sort of cleared and tidied, Christmas corner emptied of stuff that can go back where it all belongs, baking cupboard tidied, listy written. Normally I'd feel a failure because I haven't crossed most of it off, but I reckon that's about a month's worth of stuff that needs doing, so I just feel better organised.Better is good enough.9
