Happy birthday, Pigpen x
After a couple of false starts we eventually made it to DSis for lunch today. Just got back, totally stuffed. Nice for the cousins to get together for the first time in 4 years. Even nicer that DNephew announced his engagement. Happy day.11 -

Happy birthday Pigpen.
A fairly quiet but pleasant day. Sun shone so Mum, Mr N and I walked to the beach. Waves were a bit choppy but I had fun wading and "surfing" - couldn't really call it swimming. We all did bits of tidying, eating, clearing away , did some of a jigsaw and played Scrabble. Mr N and I have packed, so a couple of things to do for Mum after breakfast then head for home with a lunch stop at my brother's. And maybe Mr A .

Morning all
You can do it Round, I am hand holding from afar.
I have the strangest bug, no other symptoms but an awful cough and this sharp stabbing pain in my ribs which makes me want to sit very still, although I dont feel particularly ill. So today will be some gentle pottering, reading, and paracetamol at regular intervals. There is quite a bit of Christmas gibble around, the whole house could do with a hoover and there is some clean washing to put away but it's not too bad.
Thanks for the reminder about bin collections Natty, need to make sure ours goes out tomorrow night.12 -
Good morning,
Recycling bins out 😇. Thank you Natty.
DH is finally getting round to his tax return. I am going to do QHI and have a load in the wm. We know how to live a rock and roll life.
Got your hand here too, Round, you’ve got this xx10 -
Eeeks sorry about the weird post with the today's list on..I have popped it on the right place now, but I'll leave my post up too.
You can tell I'm full of this virus still, not even sure what I'm doing at the moment ..lol Two weeks of it now - looks like I'm one of those that is going to have it for 4 wks rather than a few days. I'm running out of honey and lemon juice so will have to go out Thursday for some more, while meeting the girls from therapy for a cuppa. Thank god's I bought a load of cold and flu medicine before everyone cleared the shelves...lol. I just want my voice to come back...lol
Well done on your win Valli, sorry forgot to congratulate you yesterday. I also clicked on your link too and joined 👍
Off to take more medicines...🤧😷Mortgage Free as of 20.9.17Declutter challenge 2023, 2024 🏅 🏅⭐️⭐️

Morning all.
Not sure what the plan is for today - I need to pop into town to hopefully exchange a candle my sister got me for Christmas (cider scented - smells very strongly of fermented apples and very much not my taste!) and try and avoid spending any money. OH is debating whether to come in too but it's really the only thing I need to do apart from pop to Wilkos for some bleach, a half hour round trip with travel included so it seems a waste for him to trek all the way there and come back again but equally a waste to pay the extortionate prices of parking!
Gone slightly rogue with the list as all my uniform is tidied away, we don't have kids yet and our bins are empty awaiting collection next week. Floor was moped before we left Christmas Eve!
Other to dos for the day:
- Sort out the kitchen windowsill, loads of succulents on there looking terrible so I think I'm going to have to be ruthless and just bin most of them
- Plant up some herbs in the herb planter my parents got me to go on said window sill
- Wipe over shower and sink in upstairs bathroom
- Start looking into how I start selling things on etsy and what I want to sell (papercraft things I think)
- Wipe over the kitchen counters
- Sort out fridges, clean them inside and chuck out anything manky£2023 in 2023 challenge - £17.79 January10
