  • Hello everyone  :)

I have been a long-time lurker as I saved up a deposit and eventually purchased my first house with my partner. We have only been in a week but I thought I could try and take part this year in a small way.

@julicorn, would I be able to get a number and start with a target of £500?

The house we have purchased is very much a project, so most of our spare cash will be going towards the work to do it up; however, through selling bits and pieces on eBay and a few money-saving tricks, I'm going to do all I can to get into the habit of overpaying.

    Thanks!

    Hi Julicorn,

Please can I be number 99 in this years challenge again. I'm going to aim for a rather modest £1000 total 2023 overpayment thanks to having taken on a rather large mortgage since the last one started!

    Many thanks
