Welcome to all  new savers.  You are all awesome and hopefully we can all save a decent amount individually and as a group.

If you do the challenge as per the MSE directions the amount for each calendar month are as below.  However this is your challenge and there is no onus on you to save in this way or fix on the total amount or end date.  If you want to report as we go along though I am happy to record this on a sheet and the link will be on post number 1 at the top of this thread.

If you want the end date or target saved to be altered just let me know ideally in bold on the thread.
If you want to report amounts as we go either monthly, weekly or whenever please type in bold on your posts so I can easily spot them and can update the sheet with total amount saved so far.

    January         4.96
    February      12.74
    March          23.25
    April             31.65
    May             42.16
    June            49.95
    July              61.07
    August         70.68
    September   77.55
    October        89.59
    November    95.85
    December  108.50
    TOTAL        667.95

Can I join please? This will be my 1st challenge.
Do we share a spreadsheet or each do their own?

Yes of course you may join and you will be number 14 if that is ok.

I have just put a link to a spreadsheet on post number 1 of this thread and I am happy to update as we go along.  Obviously if you prefer to do your own you can do this instead  or as well as the group challenge spreadsheet.

Personally I have just printed the chart (also found in post 1) and intend to tick off the days and report a weekly/monthly  amount saved into a virtual savings space. Others are doing cash in a sealed pot so whatever works for you.

The only amount showing for each member on the spreadsheet will be the total saved since the beginning of the challenge. I will try and  update weekly to start with.

Oooh I'm getting excited by doing this with others properly this time. I don't know what nonsense I got on with last time, but the pot is going well so far 😁.

@enthusiasticsaver, I put my money aside whenever I get some income (which is staggered throughout the month), so I'll post here as I've made those payments. Mine is done based on random amounts. Can I please update my balance with what I have saved so far? If so, it's £98.31. Thanks x
