Just got my head round how much to add monthly to my savings space.
I just followed the guide available on the forum, An average monthly approach may be better.£1K Emergency Fund - £583.82/£1000
1p Challenge #9; 2023 - £76.65/£667.95, 2022 - £667.95/£667.95
£1 per day Challenge #22; 2023 - £121.75/£365, 2022 - £366.19/£3652 -
@srmlac Glad it worked for you regardless of how you did it. I think I am going to try it the way suggested by the guide this week so have printed off my chart to tick off as I save and will put the amount in monthly to my savings space. That means only a small amount in January which works well as we have the credit card to clear from Christmas shopping. Hopefully by the time I get to December and the largest monthly payment I will be used to doing without that money. It will go towards our holiday in 2024. Hi @enthusiasticsaver, can I please join for 2023 and have a number?
I've already started mine on 27 October 2022, as like @AntoMac, I do mine with random amounts and to coincide with the sealed pot challenge as I am using this penny challenge to fund Christmas 2023, so need it available to catch any Black Friday bargains for presents. But I am happy to fall in line with AntoMac from 1 November to 31 October, so there are not too many random end dates if that helps?

What number are you on the 2022 challenge and you can keep the same on the 2023 one? If you don't have one are you happy with #5?I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free Wannabe, Budgeting and Banking and Savings and Investment boards. Oh if it's not too much hassle, then yes please to the 26 October 2023 end date. I didn't have a number for 2022 as I just made it up as I went along and dropped out, so I'll take whatever number you have going please 😁.Debt Free Diary:- The Mental Debt Struggle
