how long does it take to show as repaid so she can apply for one

Given it has actually been repaid, I'd suggest phoning DWP and requesting an advance on Monday morning.  Telephone is 0800 328 5644.   If it shown on Monday morning online as being repaid, this can also be done online.
She paid it off today the last payment when will it show as repaid ? Monday?
  • telephone number taken from  Universal Credit: Contact Universal Credit - GOV.UK (www.gov.uk) which lists Friday 23rd December as "open as usual" which is why I think Monday is in time, but as poppy above "not guaranteed they will agree to give it" - DWP should though advise the same day whether they will give it or not

I have no idea how long. All she can do is ring to apply. The worst that can happen is they refuse.

You already asked that a few times, i advised your friend will need to ring and they will tell them whether they can have the loan during the phone call.

But what she saying is she told me she paid the last payment today on the old one so she can get the new advance . , when will it say about the old one being “repaid “ so then she can apply for the new Advance

Why has she left it so late, there's only 5 working days left before Christmas.

From the comments already given, the answer very clearly seems to be 'we don't know so we can't tell you'.

She will have to phone on Monday to find out if it's showing as repaid and whether they'll give her another one.
