@Wednesday2000 that must have been very scary, but sounds like you dealt with it amazingly.  I'm now putting aspirin on the list for my next shop to ensure I have in the house just in case.

Good news for a Friday... I have a new job!  Just waiting for the paperwork to come through now and then I can enjoy handing in my notice.  Celebrating with a glass of wine right now and then will need to start making plans to get done as much house stuff as I can as it's bound to be intense when the new job starts.  Cue lots of decluttering and tidying very soon!

Some more things to declare in the meantime as operation defrosting the freezer will be occurring on Monday so I can bake my heart out and fill it up again.

I have been decluttering today. Took a bag of bars of soap to the neighbor - about 25 bars. I got carried away stocking up. Then I have sorted out two stacks of books into ones staying, ones going back to the library, and ones that are headed for presents. Most of the stack I tackled are presents - we have 5 birthdays in December to deal with as well as Christmas. BIL was going to pull names but we still haven't heard from him if we are "presenting" one person or or several. 

The cat helped declutter some more by throwing up in the bedroom requiring some cleaning.

And decluttered some cash today as paid last bill for the month. Also gave away $3 at the gas station to help someone get gas. We also got gas for our car for the rest of the month. Had to pick up medications for three of us, but they were all free. One advantage of getting old.

Will probably be decluttering leftovers from yesterday for dinner.

I’m about to leave for Mum’s and have a bag ready with:

a pair of chique brown leather boots (they are hers, they are at our place for dds to try on. They don’t fit dd2 just yet so they are going back to Mum),
a massage arm we borrowed from Mum but don’t really like,
2 pairs of pants I accidentally brought home with me last time we visited (Mum and I both wear plain black pants),
old stamps for reselling (Mum has the network).

We still had a few pieces of art on the living room walls, that I have now cleaned and moved to the landing. They will go back up after the renovation has finished.

I finished the second half of a small container of hg raspberries from the freezer. I need to make space, because I will come back home with 3 loaves of Dutch bread!

Hi everyone

Well done @QueenJess, such exciting news for you!

I have mostly decluttered a long week at work with 2 evening meetings and one evening event covered yesterday. I got home at 9pm last night and didn't warm up till about midnight!
This week I have managed to declutter an A4 folder of paperwork by recycling and shredding plus put loads of other paper and card in the recycling bin which got emptied yesterday. I have kept the folder for future use. I've also done 30 minutes of tidying my garden which half filled the green waste bin, also emptied yesterday.

No other decluttering has been done, this weekend I am trying to declutter some self employment work
