7. Continue to keep kitchen clean & tidy - before going to bed
Wednesday has been a damp drizzly day. DH zizzed vegetable peelings & scraps & fed the worms, also filled the bird feeders. Both pumpkins have now collapsed so have been shared out between the 2 compost bins & the 2 wormeries. The hm soup that DH made is very tasty - we had a bowl each for lunch. DSis had to go out to pick up her meds & do a bit of shopping. I took the opportunity to sort out the under-stairs cupboard. Relocated 4 of DH’s fleece tops - one to garage, 3 to wardrobe. One of my jackets passed on to DSis & two of DSis’s coats added to CS bag (will count when bags delivered to CS) Dinner was from the chippie - kebab for DH, pie & chips for DSis & me. Wudupa.
2276 - 2282 Kitchen & office recycling, 2 booklets, glass jar, drinks cans, cardboard box - recycled

Hi all, belated birthday wishes Mrs SD, hope you had a lovely day
The car passed it's MOT with the minor issues being repaired. There are a few other things that need sorting but they can wait until I get back from my trip. The car is 13 years old and so it is only to be expected that it will need some work but so far it hasn't been too much and nothing too serious so I will keep it going for a bit longer.
Yesterday I did a small sm run, OH wanted some decorations for the cake as we didn't have ANYTHING. Have you looked in the tub labelled "cake decorating"? No of course not. It was decided the writing icing was too old to use so we needed new and a father christmas or something was needed so I returned with said items and a tub of christmas sprinkles. OH used the sprinkle gingerbread men and christmas trees alternating around the edge of the cake and then sprayed edible glitter, from the tub, over it. At that point we decided it didn't need anything else
. I should have taken a photo but it is too late now as it is wrapped but it did look very nice
. I then sorted out the cake decorating tub and threw out lots of ood stuff so there is only useable stuff in the tub now
. Present wrapping has started with paper, tags and ribbon being used from stash as I know where it all is now
. Not counted yet as there is more to do
.The kitchen bin, kitchen recycling, bathroom bin and bedroom bin have been emptied and 3 bags of hard plastic have been taken to the tip. 2 LDFPA and a small amount of ironing has been done preparatory to me packing my bag. I have decided I don't need to take loads as I will be able to wash things while I am there
. I have also found 2 gift cards for the big river place and have applied them to my account so if I run out of things to read I can get something on my kindle
. I have done a quick google of the area and found a tai chi class I might be able to go to and there are 2 swimming pools quite close by so I will investigate them to see when they have a public swim
I have also contacted my friends in the area and a provisional date has been made to meet for lunch
. All these activities are dependant on the dog being ok as obviously I can't take him but he's not usually left on his own but I will have to leave him at some point even if it's just to go out for milk
.
Tomorrow I am meeting some friends for lunch, haven't seen one of them for a long time so I am looking forward to catching up with her
Right off to bed now, hugs to anybody who would like one

I have done some decluttering of the kitchen, but can't remember the details now. I know I had to throw away some lettuce and tomatoes. Grr. I need to keep an eye on fresh produce.
Rearranging my skin and hair care has been great. I actually have used up four ends of tubes and recycled them today! It is reminding me to use conditioning spray in my hair now as it is kept right opposite the mirror.
We have the workman coming here tomorrow about the floor and I have a hospital appointment too. I think I might order a curry tomorrow as a treat.
Nice pic from this afternoon.
