Dbro staying..helped me put one bookcase together but have lost a screw and nut for the other. Will ask a neighbour tomorrow as I don't have the right ones. One small box of photos brought for me to look through while off next week.

Sold one item, packaged and posted. Mattress to be picked up tomorrow after work. Found one throw to be recycled.

1. Write a daily To Do list - only 3 tasks to include MMiM - do this before I go to bed

2. Commence ‘Operation Frog Tickling’ I have an acronym - I.R.I.S. being Identify, Research, Implement, Sign Off 

3. Implement a new sleep/wake up regime - start going to bed earlier (target before 2:00 a.m.) get up earlier (target by 9:00 a.m.)

4. Deal with ‘Urgent’ daily mail immediately & the rest at the weekend

5. Don’t put it down, put it away

6. If I spot a mini task deal with it immediately e.g. refill olive oil pourer or salt cellar, stitch up a hole in a garment etc

7. Continue to keep kitchen clean & tidy - before going to bed

My day just kept getter better 🥳 DSis made brunch - red onion & Brie toasties 😋 Then stayed in the kitchen & made a birthday cake - her specialty - a chocolate & coconut cake (as an extra treat I got to lick the bowl!) 😊 DH also decided to bake & made orange flavoured rock cakes. I wasn’t even allowed to do the wudupa - DSis & DH did that 🥹 Another lovely surprise was that I also received a call from Germany from DB’s father-in-law 😊 & not only spoke to him but also to his wife & my nephews - all wishing me a Happy Birthday 😊 My sister-in-law was at work & my DB couldn’t be found (they live in an enormous house with a lot of land 😉) I did make dinner - veal escalopes in panko breadcrumbs with boiled potatoes & petit pois 😋 Wudupa.

Pics of my birthday cake with meerkats (DSis couldn’t find any squirrels 😂) & the rock cakes which have been taste tested ………… twice 😂

QueenJess, very pleased to hear that you are still spending time in the TLC Carriage 😊 How about fish finger sandwiches for lunch every other day 😉 or I could send my DH round as he does love a fish finger sandwich 😂 & he would have 4 per sandwich so would soon get through them 😉😉 Everything crossed that you get approval for 3 months of 3 days per week with only one day in the office 🤞🤞Excellent digital decluttering 👏

Liverpool_Anne, a nice mixture of socialising, self care & decluttering 👏 As I was reading ‘the tale of the tin’ I kept thinking I just knew what was coming next 😅 The sort of thing my DH is prone to 🤣 Such a shame the car failed its MOT first time around 😔 but hopefully the minor issues being fixed didn’t bump up the cost too much 🤞 

dND, sounds like the dehumidifier is doing a great job 👏 

Wednesday2000, hopefully by having your eyebrows done professionally the first time, you will pick up a few useful tips for when you start doing it yourself 🤞

weenancy, what a nightmare & very worrying with the banks 😞 As you say, whenever issues arise with the banks, they really don’t care about the hardship & worry caused to their customers 😖 Hope the book sorting went well & not too many books are having to be binned🤞1 penny a pound seems exceedingly stingy 😞

vulpix, I think they are all taking day trips to London - we had SIX squirrels in the garden today 😉 I didn’t realise it was your birthday today as well 😉😉 what with your lovely stepson wielding the drill & providing the muscle 🥳 Hopefully he managed to get the extensive To Do list completed 😊 

Floss, the squirrels seem to be visiting our garden from everywhere 😱

Brie, my brain thinks I am still a foolish 21 year old 🤣 The body not so much 😉 A serendipitous visit to B+Q 😊 Fingers crossed that the stars align & you can get a kitchen sorted in time for Christmas 🤞

Moorviews, eek having to choose a new swimsuit at Christmas is a daunting task 😬 You might try sportswear shops as I think they stock swimwear all year round 🤔🤞

vulpix, I see your lovely step son got everything done on his extensive To Do list 👏 so I am awarding him a Gold Star ⭐️ Fingers crossed that the weather is dry when the workman comes to sort the flooring 🤞 Although it might be wise to get some tarpaulins to cover the downstairs furniture whilst it is out in the garden 😉 Look into my eyes 👀 “you will now only buy a lampshade & possibly some sitting room curtains” Good luck with the car hunting 🍀 How on earth can black trousers be classed as winter clothing 🤔 I bet the men never have that problem 😉

TC77, hopefully as your DBro is staying, he might be able to assist you in decluttering some of your furniture 🤞I am pleased to hear that he has only brought a small box of paperwork to deal with during your recovery 😊 You are making great progress with your decluttering 👏 I have a feeling that you have probably decluttered way more than you have counted 😊
