Another Happy Birthday Mrs SD!!!  You don't a day over 31!!!

Meanwhile - popped into B&Q as our 2 landline phones had died at the same time and needed new rechargeable batteries.  And saw there was a kitchen design department.  And someone was there.  And there's a sale on for 20% off units.  And they think they can sort it all before Christmas.  And we have an appointment to talk it through with them on Friday.  Might talk to someone else as well but this is a start.

Happy birthday Mrs SD.  I had a busy day but got little done as I ended up going out 4 times.  DGD4 just looked over my shoulder and said Happy Birthday whoever you are!  Bought an over door hanger but it doesn't fit where I want it to go.  New bed sheets for DGS4 need to go in wash before using.  New joggers for DGD4 - will steal an older pair for CS bag when she isn't around. Also purchased children's coat hangers. 

1666-68 Three bags to CS
1669 Collected refund for some tickets from one school (we gave some of ours back as short supply and some parents haven't got any) 
1670 Left Calpol at the other school as DGD4 complaining about ankle again
1671 My iPad arrived from DS1's where I left it last week packaging recycled. 
1672 All December cards purchased and November ones posted.
1673 Random packaging from items I bought today in recycling.  The cardboard and plastic in packaging does not seem to get any less. 

Tried to call in surgery and make shingles jab appointment - faffed about parking then reception was closed. Out so long my washing got soaked through.  Need to tackle some frogs tomorrow.

 I have decluttered an appointment out of the way combined with a boot load of stuff to the recycling centre. 

@weenancyinAmerica and @Mrs_Salad_Dodger you are both absolutely right about the jumper buying in winter experience and seasonal shopping. I am already finding that things are out of stock. I had better prepare myself for choosing that new swimsuit by Christmas! On holiday one summer in the USA I chose not to take my old costume with me, thinking I would choose something over there as a treat. I had to make my choice from the tattered remnants of the sale rail in early August and ended up with a non matching bikini top and bottom, in order to find something even vaguely in my size!

Thank you for the medals Mrs SD.

 All jobs on the list completed. It would have taken us weeks and several near divorces to do it ourselves. All there is to do in the house now is the flooring. The guy said week starting 20th November. The floor downstairs has to be screed. Lets hope it's drier weather by then as all the downstairs furniture will have to go outside for the day.

 Isn't it the case that when one thing in the house gives up,others join it in sympathy. Brie I had a kitchen from B N Q years ago and had no complaints. Our one at this house was Wickes and they have been fab. The previous house was Howdens. A nightmare to deal with but the kitchen was ok. 

 I must say grannykate you are possibly the best Granny ever, you are always on the go.

 Gave Step son some things I have bought and not used. A carpet runner that I found I have no room for and a new wall clock and then I decided I liked the old one better.

 So apart from a lamp shade for the unearthed lamp from the shed and possibly some more sitting room curtains, I do not need anything else for this house. Hold me to this. What I need to do now is use up all the things we have before replacing them if at all. I would like to see things used up and enjoy the space they reveal. My goal would to have an under sink cupboard like yours queenjess.

 We are going to look at a car tomorrow.

PS, in total agreement about trying to buy clothes. I struggled to buy black trousers for a funeral in March. Apparently they are a winter item.
