Still in the TLC carriage, but have to work through my freezer still. I took out all the stuff at the bottom in the middle that I haven't rummaged to the bottom of yet and was shocked and disappointed at how much there still was. Nowhere near using it all up yet for a defrost. Why do I have 80 fish fingers and 10 pieces of breaded fish?! Need to get DH's parents over to visit the kids and force them to stay for fish and chips to start using some of this up
I can get more into the teeny kitchen freezer, but most of this needs to be eaten up.
Managed to look at some digital photos yesterday (so much digital stuff to do still, but it'll be ongoing through 2024 anyway). Waiting on my boss's final decision on 3 day weeks for 3 months to use up holiday, but it sounds positive. They will make it work because they need to keep me (and I need to use holiday), but don't think the same applies to working in the office. It's nuts.Digital:

Busy morning moving more stuff around and putting things away. Various items on walls and shelves in children's rooms so space reclaimed. We may actually be able to eat at dining room table soon. Odd missing things found along the way including a nice anniversary card I don't remember buying but ideal for a December anniversary. I only have two birthdays for December after lots in November.

@Wednesday2000 "I'm getting my brows dyed (for the first time ever!)". If you are happy with the results: it's really simple to do yourself! You can buy the kit at any drugstore; it costs about €15 and lasts (me) about 3 years.

Hi all, wow everyone has been so busy. Not much done here unfortunately but some small steps. On Saturday I met some friends for lunch which was lovely and I hope to meet up with them again when I am dog sitting next week. Then in the evening we were out again with a friend for her birthday. Present + wrapping paper and bag+ card decluttered
. Lovely meal and both OH and I fell asleep on the couch when we got home
. Yesterday the weather was atrocious, OH went to the sm to get marzipan and icing as a cake is being sorted for me to take to my sister's as part of their christmas presents. A tin was requested to put it in. I found one but was told it wasn't big enough, a plastic sweet tin was required, nope they have all been decluttered either to school for cookery tins or to the hard plastic recycling. OH was convinced we had one somewhere so a search was made while OH was at the sm. No I was right, all gone but a larger tin was found. OH arrived home from sm with a tub of sweets
. I hope you haven't bought those just for the tub, no no but it is still being used for the cake
. Oh well at least it will be gone next week. I have also done 2 LDFPA, another load is in the machine and a load of OHs jeans are waiting for OH to take to the bag wash to dry. I offered to put them on the line as it is breezy and not raining but OH said no. I have had 1 session of self care and 100 emails deleted. This morning I took the car for its MOT, went for a coffee and a wander around a couple of shops while waiting. Unfortunately it failed, minor issues but they have kept the car to fix them this afternoon so I have come home for some lunch before I have to head back to pick it up.
On the subject of mould I sometimes get a bit in the shower, mainly due I think to lack of ventilation in the bathroom, OH will not open the window but I always do no matter what the weather is doing. I find one of those mould and mildew sprays keeps it at bay if used as soon as it appears and it is left until the next day to be washed off but I only get it on the tiles so not sure how other surfaces would react.
Right off to get some food and see what I can do before I have to go back to the garage and declutter some money, hugs to anybody who would like one
1460 present + wrapping.+ card
1461 self care session
1462 100 emails permanently deleted
1463 + 1464 LDFPA
Take care everyone

Foofoopuppy said:Had a clear out of under the sink, used up several cleaning bits doing a general clean. I've been reading along with interest re themould discussion, because our bathrooms suffer from a mould problem, one of which seems to have exploded overnight!
So I'm trying the vinegar solution first. Then I need to look at getting a dehumidifier, problem is one of the bathrooms has no plugs anywhere near it, so it will have to be one of those dessicated ones, and hope it does the job.
The very wet year we've had doesn't seem to be helping!
Ok that's with drying out the kitchen area too but. 😱😱😱
I hope you get it sorted @Foofoopuppy, as you say, it grows at an amazing rate. 😢Aiming for a Champagne Lifestyle on a Lemonade Budget

I did the same, but prices in the Netherlands and Belgium are starting at €16 for just eyebrows, so I did it myself the second time, and all the times after. Just remember to pluck after you've dyed, not the other way around.

Mrs. S_D - the financial thing was Nationwide - and affected three of our major banks. Claim it was a human error. My worry is that someone is experimenting to see how much damage they can do. Most of my checks cleared the next day without a problem, the rest but one cleared yesterday. But it has been worrying and hard on many people - and it is like the banks don't care.
Today after G gets home, it will want to go to the store as his food stamps come through today. Then we will visit the doctor's office if the referral didn't make it upstairs - after three tries by FAX, I may have to hand deliver it. Then off to the library for some sorting. Means I just sit in front of a cart of books and try and decide if the book fits on any of the subject carts or needs to go on a table, labeled for later stuffing of carts. Some books are really hard to figure out what subject cart they can go on - so I just leave them on that cart and we put it out labeled "Not Yet Sorted". We also put new stuff on the "Not Yet Sorted" carts at the last minute when we run out of time. Right now we have 15 carts labeled that - and only 6 can fit out at a time. So I really need to cut down on what is on the carts taking up space by sorting or throwing some into a bin that we are paid 1 penny a pound for. I don't like to do that for most books, especially non-fiction. But we can only go in today this week, because when we have time they will be closed for Veteran's Day - two day holiday for the library as the real day is Saturday and the official day is Friday. We will be celebrating both here as two of my roommates are ex-Marines (J and Da) and the Marine's birthday is the 10th and Veteran's Day the 11th. I would like to go out to the cemetery that day also and put out the flag for my Dad.
Plan a quiet evening - except Di will be watching an American football game and yelling a lot at the umpires.
Hope everyone can straighten out their house issues. Hugs to all.

I am abroad - and on the way out watched a doc by Dr Daniel Amen -0 he is a brain doc who also radio images brains as well as being a psychotherapist. I have read a book of his before but hearing him talk about brain health and how it affects everything - including how weight gain leads to slower brains!
