Cheers short bird, I haven't had a chance to look him up yet but will bear in mind what you write

1. Write a daily To Do list - only 3 tasks to include MMiM - do this before I go to bed
2. Commence ‘Operation Frog Tickling’ I have an acronym - I.R.I.S. being Identify, Research, Implement, Sign Off
3. Implement a new sleep/wake up regime - start going to bed earlier (target before 2:00 a.m.) get up earlier (target by 9:00 a.m.)
4. Deal with ‘Urgent’ daily mail immediately & the rest at the weekend
5. Don’t put it down, put it away
6. If I spot a mini task deal with it immediately e.g. refill olive oil pourer or salt cellar, stitch up a hole in a garment etc
7. Continue to keep kitchen clean & tidy - before going to bed
The washing did dry on the line 🥳 Unfortunately the sharps bin was NOT picked up 😖 not sure why ‘they’ make it so difficult to dispose of them. I have spent the rest of today watching Shetland in between naps & have done precisely nothing 😔😔 Dinner was cold pork, oven chips & baked beans for DH & DSis but I had fried eggs rather than pork. Wudupa.

Wednesday2000, shame you didn’t get to meet your cousin’s new puppy 🐶 Broadstairs sounds lovely 😊 no wonder you are looking forward to relocating there 😊
leftatthetrafficlights, definitely a busy day 🙂 Well done on getting so much done 👏 especially the under-stairs cupboard 👏 Good luck disposing of the demijohns 🍀
Excellent decluttering Moorviews 👏 You might have to be quick lining up replacement warm weather clothing as I think the bikinis etc will be in the shops later this month 🤣
Soontobeoap, how about this picture - squirrel standing on the kitchen door handle looking in 😊
Well done on decluttering the wine, Soontobeoap 👏 What an absolutely brilliant story 🥳🤩 I hope the walking boots were quadruple bagged before binning 😂 Although ceremonial burning might have been more appropriate 🔥 🤣
weenancy, what a waste of vodka 🤣 I am just waiting for the 1st Easter 2024 advert to appear on the TV 😉 What astounds me about shops stocking two seasons ahead is that the weather people cannot forecast properly a week ahead, so how are we the paying public expected to know what we will need 6 months in advance 😖
TC77, how lucky are you - one lengthy conversation in a week 😉😊 Well done on the steady decluttering 👏 Fingers crossed that any & all items you have listed will be picked up 🤞
leftatthetrafficlights, rather relieved to hear that I am not the only one who isn’t on social media ….. apart from MSE 😊
GrannyKate, sounds like you enjoyed DGS2’s 18th party - I hope you boogied on down 😉 Great decluttering & well done on finishing the decorating 👏
Siebrie, great suggestions regarding disposing of demijohns 👏
Hope everyone has a good night & I will see you all tomorrow

Mrs SD, as a squirrel lover you would enjoy Peasholm park in Scarborough. Squirrels are so tame you can hand feed them.
Today is the day, Step son is visiting with his drill. 9 pictures, a clock, curtain rail, stuff put in the loft, heavy mattress turned, heavy garden pots moved and a manger put up on an outside wall. Oh shelves in the shed too.

Tuesday is a lovely sunny & bright day & is set to reach the dizzying heights of 13C 😊 I have opened my birthday cards & presents - some fancy chocolates & a beautiful suede bag from DSis & a new watch from DH as the fixed rubber strap broke on my old watch & cannot be replaced.
Siebrie, sounds like a very eventful break at your mum’s 😉 Very pleased to hear that she is feeling better 🙂 That leak sounds dreadful & the time taken to tackle it is criminal 😖 Fingers crossed that the claim now goes through smoothly & efficiently & that restorative work is completed promptly 🤞The rest of the week definitely sounds a lot better & more enjoyable 😊 Very impressed that your mum is setting aside ‘stuff’ for decluttering & that you are taking such a compassionate approach to disposing of the items 🥹 Deserving of a medal for each of you 🏅🏅
vulpix, I see that you take the same approach when helping your mum declutter so a medal each 🏅🏅coming your way 🙂 Excellent decluttering 👏 & good luck to MrV taking up the laminate flooring 🍀 - hopefully the air is sky blue rather than navy blue 😉😉
dND, I see you are taking a very considered approach to dealing with the mould 👏 I love the picture 🙂 & I am also impressed that you are rewarding yourself with swimming sessions to counteract tackling such a monumental task 👏
Excellent decluttering of the under sink cupboard Foofoopuppy 👏 Sorry to hear that you also have a problem with mould 😔 Good luck 🍀
Brie, it never rains but it pours 😞 Sorry to hear that everything in your kitchen has decided to break all at once 😔 As you appear to have a solution to cope with the cooking until next year, it might be quite nice to spend your time in the TLC Carriage planning a new kitchen 😊 First the dream kitchen & then the actual kitchen 😉
charlies_tribe, it is rather difficult keeping up with the EDT this year 😉 it didn’t even really slow down during July & August when people are usually on holiday or entertaining their children/grandchildren 😉 I hope DD2 has fully recovered & that it was nothing serious 🤞The gremlins are definitely working overtime this year - a burst pipe AND a burnt out TV 😱 Thank heavens that DH was home to stop the water & that the smell alerted you to the TV issue 😮💨 Meanwhile some excellent decluttering has been taking place 👏 Personally I prefer “the blanket on the sofa and the TV seems so much more inviting in this weather” to any decluttering 😅 but as you say it does mean the decluttering takes a back seat 🤣
Wednesday2000, pleased to hear that the dehumidifiers have finally done their job & that finally the new flooring can be sorted 🤞It has been a long time coming 😔 Good luck with your To Do list 🍀 & I hope all your appointments go well 🙏 I did smile at your comment “I have just sprayed some cleaning stuff onto my shower so I am about to go and clean it off before I have my shower. I can't be the only person who cleans the bathroom naked!” 😀 just as long as you remember to put clothes on before answering the door 🤣
One more page caught up 🙂 & my day gets better - a lovely bouquet of flowers has just been delivered (with a box of chocolates) compliments of my DH ☺️ + DSis’s flowers are also still going strong 😊
Pic 1 DSis’s flowers
Pic2 my flowers
Pic3 my new bag
Pic4 my birthday haul 😉
I am a very lucky lady 🥹
