@Mrs_Salad_Dodger I’ve been quoted 3 months to completion!! 😱😿 This is with me being a cash buyer and the house having been vacant all year. I’m hoping it’s because they’re quoting the maximum and it will actually be earlier 🤞🤞 and I will think that they’ve been great. A bit like Am4zon saying your items will arrive in 4 days but they almost invariably arrive in 3 so you think they’ve been great.
All I’ve done today is declutter a doctor’s appointment – flu jab in left arm and Covid in right arm. All previous jabs have caused reactions but hopefully this time it will be different.
I’ve also (probably) decluttered a bit of money. I’ve ‘bagged’ a To Good T* Go roast from the hotel just around the corner, to be collected tomorrow afternoon. I say probably because the last 2 times I’ve done this, with M0rrisons and Gr3ggs, the order has been cancelled before pick-up. I’ve been wanting to try out the app for a while and it will save me cooking.

OH decluttered a bag of pennies in my direction. Ok it's just £1 but it's MINE!!! Shall take it into Tesco and submit to using the self service till to depose of it.
Collected a box of A4 plastic display thingmes some of which have gone to work where we use a lot of them. I've got a meeting in the week with others from the charity and will see if they would like some for their sites otherwise they'll go to my art class as we all like to have something to easily frame our masterpieces so we can stare down any minor flaws.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe and Old Style Money Saving boards. Done a lot of running around today but not sure what I've achieved. Returned clothes and exhanged, bought guinea pig food. 2 loads of washing out on line. OH hoovered stairs & landing. Laundry basket emptied of clothes donated to Dd and sorted into keep/donate piled and the basket is now a hiding place for bags and holdalls now 😀 we have a separate basket for actual laundry.
Tomorrow will attempt a tip run, garden, allotment and ironing. Will see what can be achieved.15 -
Evening all
1356 Next history homework done and printed off
1357-1361 Awarding 5 points to share with DS2 who has cut down a tree in front garden from 20 to 8 feet. Twisted willow grown from a twig 20 plus years ago by mil but it had got so large. Late DH cut it down several times to similar height - too expensive to pay someone although I have to get rid of the branches and foliage. First problem was getting chain saw to work but a visit to well know diy store pointed out to us we had chain back to front.
1362-63 Two car loads of branches and foliage to tip
1364 DS2 advertised free wood on fb and a couple of people came and selected the larger pieces to fill their car boot. More coming to look as well.
1365 Cleared up road and paths which were covered in twigs and sawdust or rather my lovely neighbour did as when he saw me sweeping he came over with his 'toy' - an electric outside vacuum and did the whole area himself.
1366 Started another frog which I will finish tomorrow as it needs sending off.
Having an early night.2025 Decluttering Campaign 501/2025 🏅🏅🏅(🏅🏅) 🌟

1. Write a daily To Do list - only 3 tasks to include MMiM - do this before I go to bed
2. Commence ‘Operation Frog Tickling’ I have an acronym - I.R.I.S. being Identify, Research, Implement, Sign Off
3. Implement a new sleep/wake up regime - start going to bed earlier (target before 2:00 a.m.) get up earlier (target by 9:00 a.m.)
4. Deal with ‘Urgent’ daily mail immediately & the rest at the weekend
5. Don’t put it down, put it away
6. If I spot a mini task deal with it immediately e.g. refill olive oil pourer or salt cellar, stitch up a hole in a garment etc
7. Continue to keep kitchen clean & tidy - before going to bed
13:30 Final load of washing hung out on whirligig. So LDFPA. I took the opportunity to sort out our bedding - we have two summer & 2 winter which includes the set already on the bed. I have used pillow cases to keep each set together + I have a spare set of mattress & pillow protectors. Everything now stored in 2 cubbyholes rather than 3 😊 so I have an empty cubbyhole 🥳 I also took the opportunity to sort my underwear drawer - I have 3 old bras to try on 😉 & have also added 4 headbands to the CS bag. Watched more episodes of Silent Witness but am missing Amanda Burton 😔 DH has filled the bird feeders & fed the worms plus used the trays of worm cast for the leeks, tomato plants & rhubarb. DH went out & picked up KFC for our dinner. Wudupa.

diminua, relieved to hear that you have a cold rather than Covid 😮💨 Nothing wrong with being a nerd - my DH is a nerd but his excel spreadsheet is devoted to working out the mileage on the motorbikes 😉I think your spreadsheet is way more interesting seeing how easily items accumulate 🤔 Excellent decluttering 👏 with the added advantage that even more can go - E.g. the DVDs especially as you no longer have a player 😉
I have fallen behind on the cheerleading again but am falling asleep so will resume later today after a few hours sleep 😉

@Mrs_Salad_Dodger you went to bed an hour before I was woken by DD wanting breakfast! After 10/11 hours sleep she is always hungry! Growing children, wish I could eat non stop and not gain weight 😅
Hope you have a good sleep.
Today's plans are to make the most of the nice weather and work on garden and allotment. Plus need to buy spring bulbs, onions and garlic for planting up.

Morning folks. Hoping to be more productive today after yesterday's unexpected day out with inlaws. Washing to do, planning to get curtains down to wash and dry whilst we have the weather for it. Yesterday was so hot and sunny we were at the beach and got sunburn, today is forecast more of the same.Married 40y.o. mum of an autistic 11y.o. Carer/SAHM.

Morning, i think i might venture out of the tlc carriage today for a bit. The changed meds seem to have made a difference and I'm definitely in less pain. Hurrah! Only a tentative hurrah, as these attacks come up and die down.!!
Managed to decluttered another 10 books on Friday at the community centre and a pair of my shoes i was seemingky keeping for Justin. Tried them on as my usual had some dog poo on then and I didn't feel up to cleaning them. I realised why I didn't wear them, they are too high around my ankle and not very comfy, so then have gone and comfy shoes have been cleaned!
Aim for today is to reset the lounge, i am determined to keep the one room I've sorted clean and tidy. declutter 10 things from the kitchen and 10 from the bedroom. Plus some washing plus collect the shopping plus my healing work.
Crikey that's already sounding a lot!!
Have a good day my lovelies

Very disappointing turnout for the concert yesterday afternoon. We set up two drink stations but only used one. I got home from SA at gone 6 and had a quick snack before going back just after 7 for the delivery.
Off to Church this morning.
Lovely weather here at the seaside - my grandchildren were in their swimming costumes at the beach yesterday.Decluttering Achieved - 2023 - 10,364 Decluttering - 2024 - 8,365 August - 0/45

Good morning all,
I think I’ll be hovering near the TLC carriage today. Whilst I’ve had very little reaction to the two jabs this time – previous ones have all affected me greatly – I still feel a bit achy/flu like.
So only a little shopping today; I’m aiming to get a new radio-controlled clock from L$dl as I brought none back from France.
After that it’s B%M to see if they have the rubber brushes that are supposedly good for pet fur – again, a lot of my cleaning stuff was left/donated rather than pay transport and storage. They seem much cheaper at B%M than anywhere else, and some printer paper.
The printer paper is so that I can print out the indexes from my genealogy programme and highlight all the inconsistencies in address formats from where I’ve imported other peoples’ data. I thought that it was something that could keep me occupied whilst I wait for my house. 🤣
I’m crossing my fingers about the roast dinner as I don’t really feel up to much cooking today. 🤞
