) leggings, hole in thigh mended
- dd1's mohair/woollen jumper cuff reattached- my T-shirt, tiny hole mid-stomach mended- 2 socks, holes mendedNow the mending pile is gone, and the mending/sewing basket is no longer on the downstairs window sill for all passers-by to see, but upstairs in a shelving unit (temporarily, until better spot is found).I don't think I've ever bought a skein of thread; they are all inherited from grandma's and aunties.Are you wombling, too, in '22? € 58,96 = £ 52.09Wombling in Restrictive Times (2021) € 2.138,82 = £ 1,813.15Wombabeluba 2020! € 453,22 = £ 403.842019's wi-wa-wombles € 2.244,20 = £ 1,909.46Wombling to wealth 2018 € 972,97 = £ 879.54Still a womble 2017 #25 € 7.116,68 = £ 6,309.50Wombling Free 2016 #2 € 3.484,31 = £ 3,104.5917 -

Hi Peeps,
thought I'd better put pen to paper as the old style goes. Have been lurking and keeping up with you all. I have got myself from the TLC carriage after sticking my head out of the window(safely) and having a few words with myself. Lemon drizzle cake and an odd meringue along the way helped.
Keeping my nose in all your businesses has helped and thank you all
This is my place of normality and as with being with like minded peeps it all helps.
I have had small wins at stuff going out - I did make a few lists over the weeks onto scrap paper just as a visual for me as it confirms that stuff is moving in the right direction. I don't do anything else with it, just a quick review and screw up the paper with a wry smile of satisfaction.
I have further decided as a procrastinator and owner of more than enough scrap for my life time I don't need to write on the back of said paper. This will help me declutter a little better. (who likes to write on the back of paper already written on anyway)
I am clearly succeeding slowly at the store under the kitchen sink, space is happening and a cardboard storage(old boot box) is emptying also. The loft is not being worked on at this time in much form apart from bringing an item down each time I go up there. It was meant to be matching items in and out..... 2 cardboard boxes gone into recycle bin.
We have started on the acquired candles that came from parents house by using them in the living room due to nights drawing in they compliment the TV being on and is saving from using the lamp at this time. They do burn fast as get through 2 a night when we do this. This will take us through to the end of next month. There are plenty other types of candles to use after this lot too.
Bathroom has seen some more results of less even though my ND but 1 neighbour donated us several items for bathroom use. Only 3 items on the window sill. The toothbrush and toothpaste holder a jar of body cream and DH shower gel.
Living room is definitely tidy enough. Items like books are all together (they may need to be donated) a shelf unit that has house paperwork files in place, this area is used quite frequently they will in time be moved to a hidden area as for now they are organised, tidy and used frequently.
Kitchen is doing OK as it clutters up (not difficult in a small space) and then gets stuff moved away appropriately. No real room for clutter. Just the under kitchen sink that is the WIP area.
Bedroom 1 is a haven of peace and calm and no visible clutter.
Howeverinside the wardrobes there needs to be another cull. T shirts for either of us will be there and to letting go of some bedding is in progress too. There are some other items from parents house hair care mainly that are also being used up. Still very grateful as these are still saving me plenty of pennies too. There is an A4 sized box with spare toiletries in it which covers all sorts of bits. This still makes us good for another 12 months of low to no purchases. In my side of wardrobe boxes are carefully stacked and inside the contents are carefully boxed up too.
Bedroom 2 (not used as that though) however will take longer to sort again there is stuff tidied away and organised. I need to make decisions about some stuff and getting listed to recycle some pennies. No laundry lurking about as that got sorted the other day and all put away. My little folding formica c1960's table will need to be advertised and then I can release a table from the loft into use. We have had 5 good years service from it too. There has been a couple of small wins in the storage lessening in here as 1 cupboard above has been emptied and another has become an extension of kitchen storage goods. This room is used as a living room we dine and do stuff in here.
We are clearly tortoises - no rushing about but magic is still happening.
Oops long post - Have a good week all. Take care

Work has gone completely mental and barely enough time to eat let alone declutter! I've come to the end of a massive piece of work now and the other bits shouldn't be quite as bad, so hopefully it is all up from here.I have managed to "naturally" declutter stuff, although mainly paper due to work notes (I think on paper). I was also struggling to reach the bottom of the 1/3 of the freezer I was trying to clear out and so I rearranged it such that the things that will eventually live there are now there and I now have a massive bag on top of things to be used up. It is definitely going down, but is taking a while to get through. At least I can now see more of what needs to be used, so it should keep going down. There is more rearranging to do in the freezers, but I can't see much point until it's gone down a bit more. I have also noticed my baking cupboard is slowly going down as I'm using up stock that won't be replaced.33,328-33,329 - freezer overstock used up
33,330-33,331 - cupboard overstock used up

My secret for the carrots is easy. Get mad and chuck seeds in randomly, catch dog jumping in raised bet 30 seconds later then water them if you rember... simple 😂
In a mood today as been trying to lose weight for about 2 months as scales said highest ever at 13 stone.....so as they weren't budging I'd been getting increasingly upset about it. While at doctors today I decided to try theirs and they said 11st 9 so mine are in the bin
Despite going out 3 times today I didn't take stuff to charity as it was raining so much I had to change clothes after 3rd time. Gutters are cleaned out and no longer overflowing just got to hope roof holds for 2 weeks till our builder can come 😱
I also bought a new bottom sheet as ones I bought last month aren't deep enough and keep coming off the corners and giving me night rage 😂17 -
35/52 - laptop picked up by a courier and returned to the office (I'm now redundant and pleased about it) 🙂
36/52 - fully emptied 1 hall drawer, hovered out, binned a lot, recycled some. It has totally scunnered me (good Scottish word!) I have another drawer to do (and a whole house) but taking a break before opening the 2nd one.16 -
Went to SA last night to take in delivery from 2 supermarkets - turned up at 9.25 - loads of bakery goods. I have to sort through the bags and boxes as sometimes there are chilled items in there that need to go in the fridge.
Workmen arrived on time and I got the boss to measure up my back garden for a quote. Very pleased with their work - I will post before and after photos.
Left Mr F at home with the workmen while I went to SA - community manager is away on a course so she really wanted me to do my usual organising of volunteers. Lovely meal and pud and I took one home for Mr F.
Men finished the job at 1.30 - now I am waiting for the invoice so I can pay.
Mr F is going out to men's fellowship this evening. I won't need to go round to lock up as my officer is doing a supermarket collection so will do it.
