1. Write a daily To Do list - only 3 tasks to include MMiM - do this before I go to bed
2. Commence ‘Operation Frog Tickling’ I have an acronym - I.R.I.S. being Identify, Research, Implement, Sign Off
3. Implement a new sleep/wake up regime - start going to bed earlier (target before 2:00 a.m.) get up earlier (target by 9:00 a.m.)
4. Deal with ‘Urgent’ daily mail immediately & the rest at the weekend
5. Don’t put it down, put it away
6. If I spot a mini task deal with it immediately e.g. refill olive oil pourer or salt cellar, stitch up a hole in a garment etc
7. Continue to keep kitchen clean & tidy - before going to bed
Friday is another bright sunny day with temperatures due to rise to 25C. I was up & dressed by 10:35 although DSis was already up. Recycling wheelie bin still not emptied (supposed to be emptied on a Thursday) I just hope it isn’t another 3 week gap 😖 Checked the website & just to add to the “joy” some frontline waste service workers are going on strike from 18th September to 1st October 😔apparently due to a national pay dispute 😔
TC77 sorry to hear that you aren’t sleeping well 😔 Your ex sounds like a right “insert appropriate word” Perhaps he should be sorting out his own paperwork 😖 Regardless, I wish you lots of success in ‘Mission Track Down Paperwork’ 🍀 Relieved to hear that you are managing to work around the broken scanner/printer & the broken oven & desktop PC 😰
Hi florianatwobob 👋 Steady progress on the decluttering 👏 Fingers crossed with selling items so that you can build up your savings in the ‘Loft Conversion Account’🤞
GrannyKate, Excellent decluttering & completion of tasks/dealing with frogs 👏 I would have handed the iron to the ‘sarky 11 year old’ & told her to get on with it 😂 Hope you have a lovely relaxing weekend 😊
Now caught up again so I suppose I should select a task from my humongous ‘To Do list’ 🤞 or I might just watch an episode of Spooks 🤣
Hope everyone has as good a day as possible 🤞

Decluttered a large moth from the bedroom last night. I’ve told all the insects and things how much greenfly is on my sweet peas but they don’t seem to be listening….⭐️⭐️⭐️🥇🥇🥇 2024 decluttering

Newbie here. Big decluttering in our house lately, but today was 4 of the proper bag for life type bags (not the pretend bag for life's that are basically thick carrier bags) to the charity shop, and replaced with only one small pretend B4L bag of stuff home from the charity shop! Mostly books that we were given when BIL sadly passed away a few years ago but he wouldn't want them being in our house and taking up space unread if they could go to someone who loves them! I will count 50 items as a starting point but I didn't count!
The next mission is DS' toys! He's just started secondary, so has outgrown a lot recentlyMarried 40y.o. mum of an autistic 11y.o. Carer/SAHM.

More stuff out. Cardboard to the allotment. A bag of books and a bag of DVDs to a charity table at my local asda and a bag of wool to a friend. I hope also for a bag of knitting needles to be going tomorrw.

Things aren't easy here right now so I've been keeping busy finding things to get out of the house. Sold my big freezer which should have made lots of space but hasn't seemed to. Also a bag of assorted gubbins to the chaz I pass on my way to work, the ladies in there are so kind and appreciative, I got tired of being treated as a nuisance in the other shop.
Tried giving some things away on Freecycle but that was a pain so not bothering again.

@Liverpool_Anne my physio said to buy shoes with rocker soles, I wear fitflop brand , I used to get Clark’s wave walk but they got discontinued. Plus brands like hotter that do removable insoles to get your orthotics in. Sometimes need to go for wide fit to make sure there’s enough room. Trainers like new balance although a few brands do rocker base look for the turned up toe. These don’t require your foot to bend at the toe.Focus on contribution instead of the impressiveness of consumption to see the true beauty in people.17

Morning another terrible night of face ache, but its a bit better now and while ive been lying awake been thinking about decorating our bedroom (as you do!) its only been year 8 years and still need to decorate it! I think we will move into DS1s room for a week after he gone off to uni next week end. So I need to sort and declutter our room over the next couple of week in preparartion.I am in need of inspiration ~ whats a good colour for a bedroom? I had thought deep rich purple but maybe thats too dark. Then that lovely rich velvety teal with a goldy yellow ~ but DH said no to that and maybe thats a bit too in vogue at the moment!!hmmm decisions desicsions!! Maybe i'll take a before photo, its in quite a state though!!Have a lovelt Saturday folks whatever your up to. it nice and sunny here♥️ ♥️ ♥️🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸Decluttering 2025 So far 403 / 2025

Hi everyone
I've now removed myself from the TLC carriage as I'm slowly decluttering Covid. Not managed to declutter anything else but nevermind!
Welcome to newbies and hugs to those who are poorly or struggling.
That's helpful advice about footwear; my osteopath recommended fitty-flops.
FlowerPot - my bedroom has 2 walls in a very deep purple /aubergine colour and 2 are cream - I love colour and am very happy with my bedroom
