I'm back after my extremely lengthy absence..sorry 😞
Well we are now in our new house in Wales and it's so lovely and quiet. Plus the added advantage I'm near my sister who is 15 min drive away 👍
We are living amongst boxes galore and trying to unpack a houseful of boxes...lol
So far we have managed to declutter 10 packing boxes of stuff that we don't need, and almost got the kitchen decluttered. Well I say almost...lol
We are allowing ourselves 2 boxes a day each to unpack, more if we want...😆
I shall be on here now more regularly with my boxes update...don't ask me to list things I would be here all day..lol

Bags now unpacked & put away. 1st load of washing is in & I have high hopes of it drying on the whirligig when finished as the sun is out & there is a breeze 🤞DH has sent off his photos from the RBR & he has managed 100% All Rounder 🥳 I have a repair to do on DH’s motorcycling trousers at the crotch 😬 However DH has requested a patch which I will probably do at the weekend 😉 The first & second loads of washing are on the whirligig & the 3rd wash load is in. I have watched a couple of episodes of Spooks, today’s episode of Countdown & am currently watching a Season 2 episode of Endeavour. DH has filled the bird feeders & binned yet another one that has been damaged beyond repair by the squirrels 😔 & has completed several small jobs on the GoldWing👏 DSis is in her room.

EnergyShifter, a lovely supportive post 😊 Hopefully QueenJess will take heed of your advice & be a lot kinder to herself 🤞 I will join you in sending hugs & flowers 💐
Fizz2015 also a lovely supportive post 😊 Sorry to hear that your DD is having bad dreams & you are also having broken sleep 😔 Fingers crossed that the extra cuddles will work their magic & DD will start sleeping through the night 🤞

Doctor was pleased that my blood tests were fine and the fobt was clear. He weighed me - I haven't lost any more weight so only need to go back if I start to lose weight or feel poorly.
I don't want to put the weight back on as I did feel heavy round the middle. I am going to order some new SA uniform as my present one is way too big and was preloved.Decluttering Achieved - 2023 - 10,364 Decluttering - 2024 - 8,365 August - 0/45

Mrs SD , love reading about your trip and catching up with fellow passengers journeys.
Also the creativity
Very little packed by dd2 and I take her and the boxes on sat. Old cat has had a couple of accidents , although not all her fault as was shut in dd2 room for abit and then my study! So a few things our from this ( count as 2 but included roll of wall paper I was keeping for lining drawers). Lamp picked up by someone, some stale food and dd2 big paper declutter encouraged by me.
Glad I'm not counting items in as 2 new to me jumpers * light wool v's so good for being back in office and gonwirh trousers I have so happy.
Dd2 taking the big suitcase which has my winter clothes ( and would have my summer ones) so while I have created some space will be a challenge to slim down clothes to fit in wardrobes and chest of drawers ( which should be enough for most people) giving myself to end of November so I can see what I like.
1448
Also top for CS 1449
And 2 box files, pads of papers and selection of pens to the bank of things 1454
So easy to forget items out.

3299: leaflets recycled from communal hallway
3300: shredding
3301: deleted Twitter as it was getting on my wick.
20 items sorted from the deferred decisions piles - total now 416, including old bank cards. Have sold some items via a Facebook group but will count them when they're actually in the post box. More may sell...‘Keep your eye on the donut and not on the hole.’ David Lynch.

Hi all, only thing I managed to do today was get to my orthotic clinic appointment. I have had insoles fitted in 2 pairs of shoes. My trainers which I am not particularly enamoured with but I will give them a try and a pair of winter boots that he wasn't happy with as he said there was not enough room in them for proper insoles. I did point out that I usually buy shoes etc that actually fit not things that are too big. Anyhow we will try them with the thin memory foam insoles he has fitted. Apparently I have no fat pad on my feet, no idea why as I have pleanty of it everywhere else
. My ankle is much better now and I only really have a problem with the stairs, it doesn't like the bending of the foot too much, but it is all manageable though the pain killers are knocking me out so I have snoozed my way through the day and am now heading to bed.
Hugs to everyone who would like one

Take care everyone

I made cottage pie from scratch accompanied by cabbage. DSis hasn’t been feeling well all day so only ate her cabbage. I also chopped & bagged wilting vegetables - onion, carrots, mushrooms & tomato which is now in freezer. Bagged up the remainder of the cottage pie mix. Wudupa. The 2 loads of washing on the whirligig did dry but I tumble dried the 3rd load.
1994 - 1995 Kitchen recycling, glass bottle - recycled
1996 Kitchen detritus binned

Siebrie, that all sounds very organised 👏
Muddy_Walker, very pleased to hear that you have had plenty of rest on your two weeks off 👏 even if you were bored 😅 Lovely icicles 😊 practice has made perfect 😊
Interesting thought Floss 🤔
vulpix, sounds like you are enjoying some lovely weather 😊 Well done on resisting the temptation to buy any more jewellery 👏 How dare your favourite black sandals have the audacity to break ……….. after only 12 years 😂 You have obviously looked after them very well 🙂 Good luck with the repairs 🍀
QueenJess, pleased to hear that you managed a bit more sleep Tuesday night & are starting to recover your equilibrium 😊 It does seem that your DH is rather old fashioned when it comes to parenting & housework/cooking so I can empathise with your feelings 😔 it is extremely wearying to have to do all the thinking/planning of meals & taking care of ill children especially when you are not feeling 100% 😔
Excellent decluttering Happy_Kitties 👏
Brie well done on having several empty/almost empty drawers 👏
Liverpool_Anne, sounds like you had a lovely time visiting your niece & her DH 😊 Shame about injuring your ankle just as you were leaving 😔 but hopefully it will heal quickly 🤞Excellent decluttering & tidying 👏
~FlowerPot~ I am extremely lucky that DH books such great places to stay 😊 Definitely time to start training DS2 how to cook - maybe a full roast dinner 😉😉 So pleased to hear that DD is enjoying her time at the home ed centre 🥳 Keeping everything crossed that you will get a response regarding the huge toad you sent off 🤞
Florenceem a busy Wednesday as usual 👏 Sorry to hear that MrF has been referred to the hospital 😔😝
Excellent decluttering EnergyShifter 👏
You are a one weenancy 😉 Not sure you should visit the U.K. again 😅
Lovely to see you back Natty68 👋 Sounds like your move to Wales has gone well & it must be nice to live closer to your DSis 😊 Excellent unpacking of boxes 👏 So many already done so I am awarding you a Gold Star ⭐️ Keep up the good work 😊
Florenceem, so pleased to hear that there are no problems identified from your blood test results 😊👏Also very pleased that your weight loss has stopped & that you are happy with your new lighter figure 😊
Thank you TC77 😊 DD2 must try harder to take more stuff 😉😂 Steady decluttering & pleased to see that you are keeping count 😉 Good luck thinning out you clothes 🍀
Excellent decluttering short_bird 👏 especially impressed with how many deferred decisions you have dealt with, so I am awarding you a medal 🏅
Liverpool_Anne, well done on getting to your orthotics appointment 👏 I am rather surprised at the chap for complaining that your shoes were the correct size 🤔 What an odd comment for him to make 🙄 Very pleased to hear that your ankle is healing nicely 😊 Sleep well 😴
All caught up, so I am off to bed 😊

I keep waking up at 5 or soon after which is not good as watch TV late to relax so not enough sleep. Have email from Ex for copy of papers and waiting for him to serve stuff on me and then may have to dig out documents from over the years which is worrying me.
Going to get up and find it and photo it as printer/scanner also broken along with the oven and desktop pc! I have great sympathy with those who don't get things fixed as too much effort but want to avoid spiralling into that approach fully but have managed so far to adapt which also shows how we don't always need all the stuff we have!
