Hello. I managed a bit of sleep which is better than nothing. Hubby says he feels better than he did so I’ve left him with diarolyte and a couple of crackers and water. It’s brought things to a head really……I can’t cope anymore with his mess and his childish attitude. I’ve tiptoed, been brutal, had many conversations and now I’ve had enough. This could be sheer exhaustion talking but I don’t feel I can rely on him anymore.

Muddy walker, I hope equilibrium has returned at your place.Floriana, you are beasting the sewing. You have plenty of patience.Well I was up at 6:30 because Mr V fell out of bed. Yes you read right. On holiday we had a super king bed and he rolled over in our king size onto the floor!!!! Chuffin Nora. He is a liability. Consequently we have got a lot done. All holiday gubbins put away and 3 loads of laundry done. We both had a sort out of our wardrobes.I have made an extensive to do list. I am about to go up a ladder with an old tooth brush to get some marks off the exposed brick chimney breast from when the ceiling was skimmed last January. Next I shall look at my house plants which have been outside for a few weeks. If they survived the surprise heat wave I will bring them back in. Spare bed stripped. DD1 coming on Thursday for a gig and to meet her Nephew.2 big bags filled for the chazzer with shoes, jewellery, my clothes and an evening dress. Mr V listed 3 large off cuts of oak worktop and they have sold.New total 899
by hook or by crook I will have all our possessions under control!

Oh dear muddy, I have just seen your latest post. My advice would be to do nothing until you have had some sleep. Stand up for your needs. Xxx:15

MrsSD thank you for the medal, I will display it proudly
Muddy, that sounds really tough, do you have a trusted friend or family member to talk it over with? Sometimes I think it helps to layout all the options. You are allowed to consider anything that might give you some peace and happiness. Except murder, that's probably a bit frowned upon!
Vulpix, that's very productive, hopefully he'll fall out of bed again and you can get even more done 😆
Today is Mr Flamingo's longer shift at work, so I've pulled all the wardrobe and drawers in the bedroom out for a season rotate and purge. I've filled one of the charity bags that come to the door just with my stuff! I also have a rag bag too. I reckon it's about fifty items decluttered. I also made two snoods from my charity shop chunky wool, and when flylady is onto the hallway in a few weeks I'll use them to replace some less loved items in the winter accessories stash. Time to start preparing.
Has anyone else massively noticed the evenings drawing in in the last couple of days? I hate the darker nights!Married 40y.o. mum of an autistic 11y.o. Carer/SAHM.

Hi all, the dead duck impression has continued for a few days but I had my b12jab yesterday and I am beginning to feel more human now
.
In the past few days I have only managed 3 LDFPA, collected my meds, had a jab and the bedroom recycling emptied. A present with wrapping and card from stash have been delivered and I have done 2 small trips to the sm but it has all been put away. I have kept trying the insoles but although they are helping with the corns they are making my ankles ache. I will give them a bit longer.
@wort, thanks for the recommendation, I will try to hunt them down in a shop so I can try them on. I only wear flat shoes, can't do heals at all, or anything with a toe post and I do have wide feet so always go for a wide fitting. I think the main issue is that since I had my knee op I walk differently and this has caused pressure on different parts of the foot so I have worn away the fat pad. I spent years on my feet at work. I usually wear sketchers with the memory foam insoles which do help but as I tried to explain to the orthotic man they are not waterproof so I need something as comfortable but that are waterproof. My multi coloured wellies are not always appropriate
@Muddy_Walker, I really feel for you, hugs. Would some kind of joint counselling be useful. I think Mr MW sounds as if he is struggling as well though that is not really an excuse to not helping around the house but may be an explanation. I do agree though that you must put yourself first so if there is a trusted friend you can talk to about your options it would be a good idea. You must do what is the right thing for you.
@NornIronRose, the non mol order explains everything, glad you have been able to sort it all out and I hope the rest of your plans go smoothly. You are doing a brilliant job.
Ok off to sort tea, hugs to anybody who would like one
1286 1288 LDFPA
1289 meds collected
1290 bedroom recycling emptied
1291 B12 jab
1292 wrapping paper and card used from stash
Take care everyone

I haven't been around for ages but I did think of you all the other day when we shipped out 10 (!) bags/boxes to the charity shop. I've also identified a big tub and box of toiletries that is going to a friend as her village has a lady who organises Christmas gifts for teenagers in poverty and it's all things a teenage girl would love. I've started on my craft bits and need to get a lot of it sorted soon as we need to use the current office/craft room as a nursery for our son - he's nearly 7 months old now and still sleeping in our bedroom
The trouble is the only options we have are to either put it all out in the outside office (in a building at the end of the garden, not attached to the house so I would only be able to go in there when he's in bed asleep and if my OH is home and in the house as I wouldn't feel overly safe leaving him in the house on his own even with a good monitor and it being less than 2 minutes to get up to his room) or really cut it down and put the writers desk we have spare in our second double bedroom so I could still use my stuff when he's napping or entertaining himself on his play mat.
I also donated some old mugs and plates to a gentleman who was getting set up in his new home after a few years of homelessness so that was good too!
There's a lot to do, maternity leave has me in the house so much more than I did before I had my boy (I'm in hospital work so I've never worked from home) and I see all these things about that I don't use and don't want any more day in day out. The place will be bare soon enough!£2023 in 2023 challenge - £17.79 January13 -
Worked on making some beaded pens this afternoon so some stuff was decluttered to add to my total. Only one service at Church today.
Chap came to see me about tomorrow's work in the front garden. I have taken before photos.Decluttering Achieved - 2023 - 10,364 Decluttering - 2024 - 8,365 August - 0/45

@vulpix thank you, there is an internet meme about cross stitch and patience….. but the humour is a little dark. 😉
