Happy Birthday weenancy.
Busy day here.
I popped to SA at 9 am. I got back from my visit to SA - J was still painting. I had been asked to return to SA in an hour to help with counting so off I went. J was still here when I got home - he was painting for 4 hours. J will be back next week to do top coats on the upstairs doors.
Mr F had a good visit with the MH nurse - she is coming again next month.
DGd A called in to see us before we went to the Optician to collect Mr F's new glasses. I popped in a couple of charity shops while Mr F was in the bank. Had to wait ages for a bus - good job there was a shelter as it was raining - again.
I took the beaded pens with me to SA today - I need to make more - got orders for 32 already.
So - ordered more beads.
I have started a new sewing project today.Decluttering Achieved - 2023 - 10,364 Decluttering - 2024 - 8,365 August - 0/45

Been at work all day until IT admitted defeat and just gave me a new laptop; the hard drive had just completely failed. Anyway, now only just sat down after being at work late, cooking dinner, ordering some online groceries and doing some other bits and pieces. I have not tidied today, but I refuse now, it's too late. I will do some tomorrow evening as I've cooked enough dinner tonight to reheat for tomorrow so I will have more time. Some odds and ends out the door:Digital:

Happy birthday Weenancy! 🍰
Brie - what a dilemma…..perhaps put upstairs?
Bin day tomorrow so mad fling with the rubbish bag…
I’ve been playing around with the resin stuff and thought I’d make snowflakes and maybe sell them at work and donate the proceeds (less cost of resin) to my cancer charity. Pics below if it works…..messy right now but only looking for ideas. Won’t be making lots until I’m happy with the colours…3⭐️⭐️⭐️🥇🥇🥇 2024 decluttering

Just a few things off the reading pile into recycling today. I say reading pile but because there is so little on it these days it is actually in the Mission Control box, the contents of which are shrinking daily. Sooo satisfying.
OH had a successful trip to the recycling centre and dropped off the CS bag as well. We have also started discussing what to do about things we want to sell so we can start getting them together. Plan is to do the shed at the weekend as this needs to be cleared to get firewood in and we need to do it when it’s not raining!Decluttering Awards: 🏅🏅14 -
Back to work yesterday - the emotions of the day before, combined with the miserable weather made me tired so I napped between clients.
I brightened up in the evening though so DS & I went to eve Mass to give thanks, then to a nice pub in Blackheath for fish & chips to celebrate the good news of him being discharged. Two years ago - we were going through what felt like Hell as he was in the acute stage of his psychosis after almost a week of little or no sleep . I feel so blessed that I can sit here peacefully this morning with him sleeping soundly upstairs. 🙏💕

@EnergyShifter - i hope life is peaceful for you and DS now
@Muddy_Walker - love the mushrooms too, talented you!
Started tackling a frog yesterday as I began my self assessment!
Also tidied some old tiles that had been in my dismantled shed and then left in random places in the garden - have now put them all together in a box to offer on Fb or take to the tip.
Got lots of work to do this week but means I can have a free weekend
Love to all

I'm back after a 5-week (I think) gap! Life has been busy! The second weekend of July the 3 of us went to my Mum's (4-hour drive), on Sunday dd2 and I returned; dd2 was on a sewing camp, where I had to drop her off every morning before work and then pick her up after. The third weekend of July dd2 and I went back to Mum's where we spent 2 weeks vacation, with a daytrip every other day. Then, dd1 and I came back home on Saturday, she immediately left with a friend to go to Germany for 5 days. She came back on Wednesday, we left for my Mum's on Thursday, I worked from Mum's on Friday, and on Saturday all 3 of us returned home. Sunday, I led the Sunday school. It was too hectic, I made mistakes at work and was given a warning.Husband has been offered a political opportunity in his home country and has a 3-day meeting with a Minister next week; he has prolonged his stay and will only return on 20 August. I will have been a single Mum for 8.5 weeks by then.I have several frogs to deal with:- the upstairs toilet cistern is leaking where it's connected to the seat;- dds have new hanging lights I have to put up;- dd2's room needs to be rearranged;- life insurance pay-out for father's decease. I think the undertaker's didn't tell us the truth about the pay-out and have pocketed the difference.- other admin resulting from father's passing, either cancelling or changing to Mum's name. Mum is 87, but very clear headed; I figure out what the paperwork relates to (together with her), write a note about which action she needs to take and put it on top of the relevant paperwork, pop it in the to-do tray, and then she is the one to actually contact the companies.- sorting through Father's iPad is taking so much time! He had subscriptions to so many e-mag, apps, forums, etc,. I wouldn't bother, normally, but some of those require payment, so I really need to actively cancel them.- de-greening the swimming pool.Frogs dealt with:- I have a sore foot and will have x-rays taken this afternoon (I needed to arrange for a referral from the GP)- I am sooo tired and can't concentrate (on top of vacation situation as described above) so GP has taken blood for testing. I had to come back later for a nurse to take the blood, because the GP couldn't find a vein, which is abnormal. Usually, copious amounts of blood stream out whenever it needs taking. Even the nurse had problems locating a vein.- the two guinea pigs had mites. We don't know how they got them, but it took a visit to the vet's and medication to solve.- working through part of father's admin. Are you wombling, too, in '22? € 58,96 = £ 52.09Wombling in Restrictive Times (2021) € 2.138,82 = £ 1,813.15Wombabeluba 2020! € 453,22 = £ 403.842019's wi-wa-wombles € 2.244,20 = £ 1,909.46Wombling to wealth 2018 € 972,97 = £ 879.54Still a womble 2017 #25 € 7.116,68 = £ 6,309.50Wombling Free 2016 #2 € 3.484,31 = £ 3,104.5917
