Kitchen finished this morning just in time. Boiler passed with flying colours and he looked at dripping shower which needs a new part. Gave him a list of electrical jobs too as the company has an electrical division as well so he will pass that on.
One frog 🐸 done this morning. Haven’t chosen the other three for this week yet - will have time to do that tomorrow when OH goes to the recycling centre.Decluttering Awards: 🏅🏅15 -

Up early today. Finished reading the book I started yesterday. My sister called and offered to pay for lunch while I am dog sitting later today. May use part of it for cat food. Fed the pets. Did a load of laundry. Worked on the computer. Got a chapter ready to go so I can work on it while I dog sit. Need to go the Social Security Office then to dog sitting. Today is trash day so will be getting a lot out of the house. Then have to dog proof so husky can come in for awhile tomorrow. Have another box of books to go for the library book sale as well. One roommate is being interviewed by phone today to be a monster at Knott's Berry Farm's Halloween Festival - he has done it before. Fairly "normal" Monday.
Hope everyone is having a good day. Hugs to those who need it.14 -
Hi everyone
Love the cat pictures
I saw a request on Fb for items for bingo prizes for a local animal rescue charity so I sorted out some unused nice toiletries; candles; posh biscuits in a pretty tin and bought a bottle of wine to add in too. Dropped it all off and got a nice thank you message. Was delighted to finally declutter 9 items!

Ended up going into work at lunch time today as my laptop turned off every 15 mins and took 10 mins to restart! Have to go back in again tomorrow as it's being rebuilt still... so lots of travel time wasted and little chance to get things done at home. However, ran around post dinner to have a tidy round. Trying to concentrate more on the tidying and keeping things tidy at the moment. It's not there yet, but am hoping if I can do some everyday then it'll get there eventually. If I don't want to put something away it usually means the drawer/cupboard needs sorting out and I will declutter/reorganise it. Whilst I was putting things away I did find a bunch of things to declutter that seemed evident when I opened the drawers. Also added the duck food used up yesterday as I forgot to add them then.A pencil will likely be decluttered this week as it's only about 2cm long max and it's soon going to be too short even for my pencil extender, or actually being able to sharpen it for that matter!Basically looking to do little bits everyday and get some balance back into my life. Commented on some of my decluttering items below in case anyone is wondering what I still have left to declutter!31,698-31,700 - duck food bags used up
31,701 - broken pencil case (binned as I'd replaced it just before holiday for DS)
31,702-31,707 - stationery items (charity bag, included a very old fountain pen probably worth a little bit that was just part of my fantasy self and not reality. Also some old slide rules that were my parents/grandparents, but honestly there are no memories attached to them and apart from being quite cool, I am never going to make use of them. I have kept my old very good quality compass that I hope to pass onto my kids one day; I have very happy memories of using it at school doing technical drawings)31,708-31,711 - freezer/cupboard overstock used up2025 decluttering: 1,260🌟🥉🌟💐🏅🏅🌟🏅🌟🏅
