Two small bags of bits went off to the CS. Not actually sure where they came from…..something to do with DSis I suspect along with a couple of books Ziffit didn’t want.Had a lovely coffee out sat in one of the public gardens in town before wandering back home. The sun was lovely and the park has a mini fun fair this summer for the littlies. The coffee from the kiosk was also surprisingly good.✒️ Declutter 2025👗 Fashion on the Ration 2025 61/66 coupons (5 coupons silver boots)✒️Declutter 2024 🏅🏅🏅(DSis 🏅🏅)

Sunday has brightened up considerably - 15:45 blue skies with white clouds, sunshine but a cool breeze so only 20C. DSis has basically finished packing now & just needs to sort out the very important paperwork - passport, flight details, car hire details, cards & cash - which will be in the small handbag that she is allowed in the cabin. You get one guess as to which airline she is using 😉 Returned door keys to neighbour G & had a chat. The weather in Scotland was far better than when we went 😉 Had a really good time as visited The Orkneys for the first time ever & then spent a week visiting family. Also had a chat with another neighbour J who had just got back from visiting his mum. Worked out all my timings for cooking dinner so didn’t have to use the warming drawer 👏 Took the opportunity to cook the apple & rhubarb crumble so had a full oven 🥳 Dinner was delicious - roast pork with really good crackling, roast potatoes, parsnips & carrots, Yorkshire pudding, broccoli & hm gravy 😋 but forgot to cook the baby spinach that I had washed & spun 😔 Fortuitous really, as we all had plenty to eat with no los apart from pork & gravy 😊 I have selected this weeks 4 frogs 😉
1760 - 1764 Kitchen recycling, newspaper, 2 magazines, drinks cans - recycled
1765 - 1768 Kitchen, lr & DSis bedroom detritus, plastic packaging - binned
Just noticed the time when I woke up as I fell asleep on the sofa 😱 Off to bed & will catch up on the cheerleading later 😉

How cute is that cat!
I looked through my husband's wardrobe and didn't find even one thing to declutter. There are two jumpers he isn't that fond of, but they are in good condition and fine to wear underneath other jumpers when it gets cold.
I just need to do the last half of my wardrobe and then I will take the donation bags either today or tomorrow.
I'm just off to watch the football as I haven't really seen any of it yet.

Monday has started as a lovely sunny day (08:15) DSis is up & has everything packed & weighed. I am up to say goodbye but will probably have a cuppa & then go back to bed once DSis has been picked up & is on her way to the airport 😉 Forgot to mention that the broccoli in the veg box had lots of black bits & the potatoes were not good quality so DH & I took the decision to cancel 😔 It just means that I will have to menu plan properly & buy vegetables from the market 😉
QueenJess, you might have slowed down a little but you still had quite a busy Sunday with some great decluttering 👏 I think you have earned a break from sorting photos 😉
Muddy_Walker, I hope you enjoyed your Sunday in the TLC Carriage 😊 What a Good Boy & yes I do mean doggy 😅 Although hubby was good too taking doggy to the vets 😉 Good luck with your PIP claim 🍀
Florenceem, what a stunning advent calendar 🤩 I can see the amount of work that has gone into making it so I am not surprised it is an one-off make 😊
Excellent work sorting boxes weenancy 👏 Loving the “……..most of my t-shirts are getting little holes in them. Only lasted about 30 plus years. Trying to keep them going for a few more. Sometimes I can't tell when a picture was taken because I have been wearing the same clothes for so long. Just getting whiter hair and more wrinkles - so date them that way” You obviously take good care of your clothes 😇 I have a few t-shirts that I bought in Atlanta at the 1996 Olympics which are still going strong 😉You had a busy Sunday 😊 Pleased to hear that you enjoy the book sorting at the library & occasionally come across a treasure for yourself as well as treasures for presents 👏 Your next book sale must be coming up quite soon? Fingers crossed that the temperatures only reach the high 20s or very low 30s 🤞
DSis is on her way to the airport - the car arrived a few minutes early & she left 09:45. Pleasingly she is excited & her son will be meeting her at the airport in France 😊
vulpix, shame that the cricket was cancelled but at least you got to see the practices 🙂 Cricket on a village green always reminds me of lazy summer afternoons & I do love the sound of a cricket ball being hit - such a distinctive sound 😊 Thanks for the pics - it really is a major renovation project 🤩 I hadn’t noticed your laughing cat until regnbue mentioned it 😉 but I did notice the Zippo 😅 The new drawers look very sturdy & in pretty good condition 🙂
nannywindow, pleased to hear that your dining room is your own again 😉 At least when you get the hamsters next time you will have the DGC as well so they can do all the care & feeding 😉 Fingers crossed for nice weather in Amsterdam when DD & SIL visit 🤞Well done on decluttering boxes so quickly 👏 Sounds like your Dad had a good time yesterday & was in a good mood 🤞
EnergyShifter, that sounds like a perfect Sunday 😊 especially being able to sit outside in the sunshine 🥳
regnbue, as I mentioned earlier I hadn’t noticed vulpix’s cat but now he is the first thing I see when looking at the pics 😉 He definitely looks happy to have photobombed 😂
florianatwobob, that sounds like a lovely way to spend a Sunday - drop off some stuff at the CS then spend time outdoors in the sunshine sipping coffee & watching & listening to children having fun 😊
Excellent decluttering in your kitchen oceanspirit 👏
Wednesday2000, you obviously made a good job of decluttering your husband’s wardrobe on a previous round of decluttering 👏 Good luck with your wardrobe decluttering 🍀 Reminds me I really need to sort mine at some point soon 😔 Hope you enjoyed the football 🤞
Still lovely & sunny at 10:30 so might not go back to bed 😉

I've had a lazy weekend due to some unfortunate side effects from my meds 😕 been to the Drs this morning and hopefully the changed one will be less bothersome!
I have done a sort of my Harry Potter store (cupboard under the stairs 😁) and hoiked out some tins for the foodbank, which I will drop off later.
There are a couple of tadpoles on my desk that need sorting before they grow - stuff to send to my IFA and a phone call to the cattery to book Whisky's hols in March.2021 Decluttering Awards: ⭐⭐🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇 2022 Decluttering Awards: 🥇

Good day fellow declutterati.I have a story about the zippo lighter. I threw it very badly to Mr V on the balcony of the b n b. Missed him and watched it plummet through the railings towards the river below. I was laughing so hard. Miraculously it landed right at the river’s edge. Mr V had to ask next door to go through their garden to retrieve it. 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Fomo the cat is VERY happy we are home. He is now my shadow. Fluffy, not bothered. As you seem to like cat pics, have another. Vx:21 -
Last bit of specifically MiL related furniture is now gone - the "over the chair/bed" table on wheels. I'd put it on Gumtree and chap was very brusque in his messages to me and I was almost thinking to give him a miss. But he showed up on time, had a tenner in his hand ready to give me and had the loveliest big smile as well - so that was nice. There is still the rusty old rollator but that's destined for the tip as no one wants it even for free.
Small self planted tree in the front garden will be hoiked out for the tip run too. Will ask OH to load the lot in his tank after the gardeners visit tomorrow as they always produce a lot to be rid of - roses need pruning plus 2 to be pulled out that died over winter and have shown no sign of life all summer.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe, Old Style Money Saving and Pensions boards.
