I havnt been on here for a while as life has taken over! Anyway we finally got rid of all of the packaging  from bunk beds and then another lot arrived on some gifts that I ordered. Have cleared all of the craft stuff that I had sorted to craft group or individuals who will use it so that is good. I am cleaning up some wooden toys to take to summer fayre at end of August too so that will be a lot more gone. Also sorted freezer out to make room for all of the food for guests this week. All in plastic bags with instructions torn off boxes and a bin bag full of boxes out of the house i am not ciunting any of my everyday rubbish which makes me wonder where all this stuff comes from! When I started I thought my target was really high!

Really struggling at the moment as I really need a break and I have a billion and one things to do before we leave for holiday next Friday (obviously I am in charge of packing for me, DS and DD and thinking of everything we might need...).  I decided to prioritise myself next week and have the hygienist, a haircut and contact lens appointment.  Somehow I also have to fit in a whole week of work as well and not looking forward to doing that .

In the meantime I'm trying to give myself a break and I am prioritising tidying only.  Decluttering only occurs if I feel like it, so none done yesterday as we went out for the day and I was knackered.  Reporting numbers from Thursday evening.  Tonight will be washing (need to keep on top of it for holiday), doing an order for the kids snacks to take away with us and getting some garage stuff onto Buy Nothing that DH has finally confirmed can go.  Will do some photos whilst watching TV if I feel up to it.

Hopefully I'll come back from holiday with renewed enthusiasm!

Tea was 50/50. I made a dahl after lunch and he came home (after buying needed bits for tea) and made the chicken curry and did the rice and naans and I dished up! Teamwork makes the dream work !! lol!!

 I got my tutoring done too whopp de whoop.

Good evening all, sending hugs to all who need and want them.
Summer has well and truly dissappeared here.
DD3 went off to Germany last week,  not sure what their coach driver was up to but kept taking wrong turns, they missed their ferry and arrived 22 hours after they left here, 5 hours after the first coach had arrived. She had a fantastic week and they made it home an hour early! 
She hardly spent anything but hasn't brought what's left down yet so no idea what will be exchanged back.

Another pair of trainers sold Sunday so posted them both off Sunday night. Not much else has been decluttered but did decide to start on my photos now the emails are almost up to date. Soooo many dance photos to go through.

DH finished filling the skip but I've no idea what went in the other half. He's having a break from the garden this week to rest his shoulder.

The 2 bags that DBro was supposed to take to the CS 2 weeks ago left the house on Friday (😡😩😤) with me and DSis. They’d also morphed into 3 bags!! There’s more room in the hall now though  - yippee!

I’ve nearly decluttered the cold I picked up last week. Only one more week to get through and then a week off (and it’s birthday week that week too!)

Evening! I don't have a stash of treats Mrs SD because I do not have much willpower 😪 fortunately chocolate gives me a migraine so everyone else's stashes are safe. I can however sniff out a victoria sponge and would happily cut a HUGE chunk 🤣.
The afternoon descended into chaos and the dc were misbehaving and disrespectful for most of it. Bedtime was a nightmare and 2nd dd managed to push just about every button there is 😪. Took nearly 3 hours to settle down and has ended up with all of us being upset/cross with each other. 😔 hopefully tomorrow will be a better day. 
I have told the dc that they need to clear up after themselves and they are refusing to co-operate....to be honest it has been a downhill slide with this for months but has definitely got worse recently. I told them before bed if they didn't clear the toys and craft stuff away I would give them to children who would look after them/respect them but none of the dc were bothered and went to bed leaving them lying around. I just don't understand it. There is plenty of storage for the toys etc, they ask for them and then they are not bothered 😟

1. Write a daily To Do list - only 3 tasks to include MMiM - do this before I go to bed

2. Commence ‘Operation Frog Tickling’ I have an acronym - I.R.I.S. being Identify, Research, Implement, Sign Off 

3. Implement a new sleep/wake up regime - start going to bed earlier (target before 2:00 a.m.) get up earlier (target by 9:00 a.m.)

4. Deal with ‘Urgent’ daily mail immediately & the rest at the weekend

5. Don’t put it down, put it away

6. If I spot a mini task deal with it immediately e.g. refill olive oil pourer or salt cellar, stitch up a hole in a garment etc

7. Continue to keep kitchen clean & tidy - before going to bed

I didn’t quite manage 14:00 but close 14:15 & yes it was raining 😉 I did have to wait for the bus but at least there is a bus shelter. My good deed for the day was to let the woman queueing behind me go in front as she was suffering with her back & could barely stand up let alone walk 😔 Annoyingly only 2 manned checkouts open. Arrived home in the rain, put everything away & updated my account book. Spent the rest of the afternoon clearing down programmes from the TV Planner. It rained persistently right through to 03:00 😔 Dinner was gammon, chips & baked beans for DH & DSis but I had eggs, chips & beans. Now down to just the 20 eggs 😅 Wudupa.
