Ironing board and bed posted yesterday on freesites picked up today, decluttered a crown from a tooth yesterday, still have it so hoping can be fixed. Having soup and the taking things back to Swedish place and picking up fewer things!
3 email frogs moved along. Hospital appt decluttered and gp call.
Recommend a*da for variofocals as don't charge more for this.
Trying to negotiate with Dd2 to help sort things bit she's looking for payment and quoting living wage:) she has been trying to get a job but proving difficult. Has part time job coaching at a holiday club for a few weeks.
Soup counts as decluttering as been there a few years. There is another tin to go too.17 -

And to be honest, my boys both helped clear my mum's home (ages 17 & 19), helped me clear our family home the following year when I was moving away and helped me relocate back when it all fell apart 12 years later without wanting payment. They see that short-term helping as repayment for what I've done for them through their lives.2021 Decluttering Awards: ⭐⭐🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇 2022 Decluttering Awards: 🥇

@Floss I agree with you that she should and she has done some but she's low at the moment. My nephew has been great at my dad's and will get DD2 there for no payment. Seems the girls in the family less good at helping:( she is under instruction to clear up after herself.
Forgot got batteries put in 2 watches brought back from my dads( on of DM and one of his)- don't have a watch so useful.

Hello!
Back to as normal as I can be after jabby day. Absolutely nothing noteworthy got done apart from I read quite a bit. One book was awesome the other 2 were not…..I think one author was taking so long someone must have said “just finish the wretched thing” so they did. And it was a real cop out. The other I guessed 2/3 of the way through but it wasn’t written that well….ho hum!
today though besides the paid stuff, I walked both dogs!!!!! Not far or for long but I got out 😊
also bleached kitchen windowsill - one of my Christmas cactuses has been destroyed by those horrible little flies 🤨 and I didn’t realise what the teeny tiny black bits were round the pot on the windowsill. Needless to say they aren’t there now!!! I blame peat free compost it is rubbish. Then I deadheaded some flowers and cut off chewed leaves from caterpillars. Why can’t they go next door???????? And leave my sweet peas alone!!!!
Got a very busy evening tomorrow which I’m glad about as hubby is off to Boston for work. And it’s gonna be very hot there too so I’m a bit worried. I’ve been assured there is aircon everywhere though…..he can get terrible migraines.Night all xx⭐️⭐️⭐️🥇🥇🥇 2024 decluttering

1. Write a daily To Do list - only 3 tasks to include MMiM - do this before I go to bed
2. Commence ‘Operation Frog Tickling’ I have an acronym - I.R.I.S. being Identify, Research, Implement, Sign Off
3. Implement a new sleep/wake up regime - start going to bed earlier (target before 2:00 a.m.) get up earlier (target by 9:00 a.m.)
4. Deal with ‘Urgent’ daily mail immediately & the rest at the weekend
5. Don’t put it down, put it away
6. If I spot a mini task deal with it immediately e.g. refill olive oil pourer or salt cellar, stitch up a hole in a garment etc
7. Continue to keep kitchen clean & tidy - before going to bed
So much for posting on Sunday 😬 Sunday was a dry & occasionally sunny day 🙂 I was up about just before noon & DSis persuaded me to risk washing & waterproofing my motorcycle jacket 😉 Removed the armour, washed & waterproofed & then hung out on whirligig. DSis brought back in about 03:00 Monday - it dried 🥳 Good job too as Monday has been wet & drizzly all day 😔 Armour is back in, keys etc returned to pockets & now hung up in under-stairs cupboard. The rest of Sunday was spent catching up on various series & dozing 😉 Apart from making dinner - sausages, mash, baked beans & chopped tomatoes then doing the wudupa. I did watch the special Casualty episode in celebrating 75 years of the NHS. I was crying throughout as the main storyline was about an injured motorcyclist 😭Mostly tears of relief that DH is still in one piece after over 40 years of riding 😥 DH’s leg is definitely improving & he can stand for 10 minutes at a time. Although still spending a lot of time on our bed with his leg elevated.
Monday has been another very lazy day for me. - got up about 10:15 😊 TV hasn’t been on at all yet, as I had bought myself a Sudoku book which is now completed & in the recycling bin 🙊 I have refilled the bird feeders. DH has made soup - did it as two 15 minute sessions. I am cooking a roast beef dinner with roast potatoes & parsnips, boiled cauliflower & carrots & Yorkshire puddings. Wudupa.

Lovely to see you vulpix 👋 & thank you for taking time to post 😊 You really have been Uber busy - mini breaks, decluttering, packing up downstairs for renovations, organising & paying for another mini break & arranging somewhere to live until renovations are complete 🤩👏 and you still have your cruise to look forward to & a new addition to the family 😊 As you are so organised + congratulations on losing 20lbs 👏 I am awarding you a medal 🏅 to add to your collection 😉 MrSD was careless - slipped & twisted his knee on our 2nd day in Scotland 😔
Lovely supportive post 2Scratters 😊
Floss, I believe vulpix’s brother has cut vulpix completely out of the loop 😔😖
Florenceem, excellent work making so many stockings 👏 I regularly pop onto the crafting thread to admire your work 😊 Fingers crossed that MrF can deal with the paperwork without any undue stress 🤞
Lovely to see you Soontobeoap 👋 Well done on getting rid of all the packaging from the bunk beds & the excess packaging on all the food for the freezer 👏 I think there are “Clutter Gremlins” who sneak into our homes bringing clutter in & hiding it 😂
Florenceem love the smilie stocking 😊
QueenJess, Sorry to hear that you are struggling at the moment 😔 Hopefully prioritising yourself will set you up nicely for your holiday & fingers crossed that DH will pitch in whilst you are away & allow a the odd hour here & there to look after the DC & let you have some ‘you time’ 🤞More excellent decluttering 👏
~FlowerPot~ Saturday’s dinner sounds really tasty 😋 & even better that you & DH shared the cooking 👏
charlies_tribe, what a nightmare - a 22 hour coach trip 😖 I take it that it was a different driver on the way back 😉😉 Excellent decluttering & a good start to your Project Declutter Photos 👏 I think DH has definitely earned a rest 😊 & I am sending healing vibes for his shoulder 😊
florianatwobob, I think DBro should be put on the ‘naughty step’ & sent to bed without any supper 😅Well done to you & DSis for clearing the bags from the hallway 👏 Happy Birthday for next week 🎉 🎂- thought I’d say it now just in case I fall behind on the cheerleading 😉
Dfw38, that sounds familiar 😬 😔 I don’t buy treats for myself when I go shopping either but DH does 😉 - I can hardly wait for his leg to heal completely 😂 We will have to put in an order for a supply of Victoria sponge for the TLC Carriage 😉 Sorry to hear that your DC have been playing up 😔 Perhaps once the toys start vanishing they might be more amenable 😉😂 Excellent decluttering of full boxes 👏 Any chance of leaving the DC behind & just you & DH going on holiday 😂🙊
Great work EnergyShifter 👏 & thanks for pointing out Florenceem is famous 😊
Florenceem, fame 😊 I think we will have to hire you as a craft teacher - I need to extend the EDT with an extra carriage 😉😊
Excellent decluttering Dfw38 👏 You are a woman on a mission 😊
I have caught up a little but will try harder tomorrow 😊

Decluttering is going slowly, now up to 1709, recent additions are soft plastics, cost hangers and receipts recycled. A load of items to ongoing rag bag and sold DD's too small bike after months of being advertised. Person didn't question the price and took straight away. Slightly more space in our shed.
One thing I don't count but doing daily is digital decluttering of emails, unsubscribing to companies and starting to delete some pictures/screenshots on my phone.
Another day working at home with DD, hoping it runs as smooth as yesterday. Leave next week and I can't wait for a break.

Good morning. Been awake since 5 so finally got up as wasn't dropping back off. Yesterday I did a quick tidy of the boys room and threw out a waterproof sheet after making DS2 bed as it had deteriorated.
Decided yesterday afternoon that the pet cupboard really needed to be sorted. It's a double (1000) unit packed to the top. The energy meters are at the back and they want to come and replace them. I'd had to wait for DHs help as if you remember my cereal cupboard of spiders, this is on the same wall and think they must be behind the cupboards on that wall, I wasn't putting my hands in!
All soft things, towels, blankets, clothing (yes, youngest dog loves his jumpers) put in washing pile. Everything else sorted through and there was a massive amount of OOD dog treats. We haven't given them for quite a while as was told off for them being overweight and then we were given bags full when a relative died. We did mean to keep giving them one every so often to use them up but completely forgot they were there until last night. Some of them were mush and absolutely stunk when disturbed!
I've done a lot more photos after seeing others on here doing them too. Photos are hard! About 1000 dance pictures yesterday that didn't have my daughter in and I still found it so hard to delete them. Not added them to the list yet as need to check how many.
Not much planned today as think DD1 is visiting with DGD.
1666-1668 3 cardboard boxes that had been storing everything but now dropping to bits
1669-1698 29 bags OOD treats (ETA some only had one or 2 in, wasn't all full bags)

1702-1704 3 collars
1705-1706 2 Puppy leads
1707-1709 3 OOD Flea drops

Healing vibes for Mr SD’s leg. Thank you Mrs SD for awarding me another medal- I have never had one in my life before joining this thread! Just saying….. in case any lurkers are thinking of joining in 😊
I am reading along but not getting much time for commenting at the moment. You do all inspire me though so thank you to all the declutterati that are keeping up with the posting.
Another three large bags have been dropped off at the CS and another into the clothing bank. Also, a bin sackful to the recycling centre. Two 🐸🐸 down as well, although I do have a lot of them to go. I do wish that they didn’t breed all year round!
We had visitors at the weekend. I noticed that tidying up and cleaning is getting so much easier and quicker now that there is less stuff. As I have been through almost all the cupboards now I can fairly easily put things away. Also, I wouldn’t be ashamed to have to open one in front of guests anymore. That said, I still have a single pile of books that won’t fit on any of the shelves so I still need to work harder on those. DD’s room is still cluttered too but we should be able to move some of that on soon I hope. The bureau desk is also unfinished as I have the little cubbyholes and a drawer left- I got a bit stuck on that but I am not worrying about it too much.19
