Morning Peeps,
well the only decluttering going on in my life at the moment is time big procrastinator here.... went for a chiropody appointment yesterday morning and I could not get in. Rang the business up when I got home as had forgotten my mobile, left a message and still no call back  Sorted a couple of parent care frogs out and both parents are mis behaving. 
Time for another spell in the TLC carriage. May need to jump off at a station for a walk, even in this rain and breathe...

No decluttering here. I’ve been out with a back issue and women’s issue. All housework and care of my son with special needs has been turned over to my husband and eldest who both work full time and my DD who had finished exams and school and drew the short straw of helping with my needs during school hours 🥲 it’s all not good here and my husband is not coping well at all bless him 🥲

Morning, I starting tackling a huge toad of a admin job this morning. Something Ive been thinking about doing for 4 years!!! I have now spent 1 and half hours on the form and still prob that much more to do, plus finding reports and printing everything out! but if I am successful it will mean a finiacial benefit and its way past time we had a little help for a certain young person in this household.  Yippee to cracking on with toads

HAve a good day all, i need to spend quite a lot of it on a redionics call, and then i nned to clean and tidy the lounge it is so bad!!! and then try and persude DH to go shopping and cook tea (what are the chances!!! slim to none, but ill try!)

Hi Decluterati. I am still here Mrs SD. I have been Uber busy. A lovely weekend in the Shetland Islands with bit by bit and my DD1. A weekend in Oxfordshire with DS and DIL and of course Mr V. 

 Packing up the house downstairs for imminent building work and my Mum has asked me to clear her house. So far 2 huge sets of drawers emptied of a small selection of her crafting items. Drawers man handled down the stairs and rehomed. It’s going to be a very long job. Mr V isn’t happy about it as my brother does nothing. I have also found out that the tenant is yet to pay any rent!!!!!!! My Mum didn’t want to tell me as my brother is dealing with it by doing nothing. 

 I have also sold most of my furniture from downstairs. I was given a “2 seater “ sofa. Turns out it is a 3 seater with 2 cushions. Far too big for the room. Both sofas will be offered to a furniture project before too long. 

 Some toiletries I bought and never gifted given to cat sanctuary appeal for tombola items. A lot of children’s books given to DIL. Garden table and 6 chairs given to DS and DIL.
 We go to Edinburgh on Sunday which is half way between Oxfordshire and the Shetland Islands. I am paying for the family to stay in a hotel for a few days and a fancy afternoon tea baby shower for DIL. That will see off the last of my money from working at the cave last year. We are taking DD1’s BF bike to Edinburgh. That will make loads of room in the shed. Yes! 

 Whilst building work is underway we are staying a few miles away in an air b n b. Much cheaper than where we live. There have been so many decisions to make, my head has been spinning. Kitchen, which sink , cooker, tiles, fridge, freezer, plug sockets, worktops, flooring, paint. Etc. it’s a giant game of 3d Tetris in my head. This has to be done to enable A, then BDF can work etc, etc. Next week Mr V is doing a quiz night for a fundraiser at the village we used to live in. I am cooking for vegans/ vegetarians/ gluten free people. Everyone else is having pie and peas. Then its pack the upstairs before the decorator comes and we go on a cruise. Sadly my weight loss hasn’t been as good as I hoped 20lbs. Some of my evening dresses are very snug! On our return it’s floor and carpet laying then I will lie down in a darkened room for a long while. Of course new Grandson due at any time from August. And breathe.

@~FlowerPot~ Thanks for the offer. I will work on finding another so much for supporting local business.
 Yes your admin frog will reap rewards when completed and that is the focus you need to keep at it now that the ball is rolling. Had to do same for DH. The first hurdle is the biggest. So please don't give up.

Oh crikey! Can I just ask if they have a contract, and if their deposit is locked away as required? You will know this, but your brother is setting himself up for problems if not - landlords have hoops to jump through nowadays, tenants have specific rights & it's not just a case of collecting any rent whenever he feels like it.

Hugs to all those who are struggling.
Neighbour has been gardening and given me a tray of rosemary and sage - she thought SA might want it. Our Officer is taking our Ukrainian friends on a trip today but I have text him. I suppose that I could freeze the herbs.
Was going to walk into town to try and get some white fleece fabric for stocking cuffs but decided to order online. Rain is forecast here and I could do with a day at home.
Mr F is busy in the office - sorting out a client's paperwork. I am keeping an eye on him for any sign of stress.
I am cutting out 5 stockings - easier to do a batch at a time - made 20 so far - 8 of those are sold. I already have an idea of what I am making after the Christmas stockings.

1. Write a daily To Do list - only 3 tasks to include MMiM - do this before I go to bed

2. Commence ‘Operation Frog Tickling’ I have an acronym - I.R.I.S. being Identify, Research, Implement, Sign Off 

3. Implement a new sleep/wake up regime - start going to bed earlier (target before 2:00 a.m.) get up earlier (target by 9:00 a.m.)

4. Deal with ‘Urgent’ daily mail immediately & the rest at the weekend

5. Don’t put it down, put it away

6. If I spot a mini task deal with it immediately e.g. refill olive oil pourer or salt cellar, stitch up a hole in a garment etc

7. Continue to keep kitchen clean & tidy - before going to bed

Saturday is an overcast & rather dark day 😔 I didn’t get up until 10:50 & am feeling washed out BUT need to buck up as I must go shopping 😥 Whilst the kettle was boiling I brought in DH’s motorbike trousers & my fleece which I had taken a chance with & left out overnight 😉 Both dry 🥳 I have hung out my trousers but need to keep an eye on the weather as a 60% chance of rain at noon 😔 ……….. trousers now hanging over airer indoors as I don’t think I will be lucky a 2nd time 😅 especially as the wind has picked up & that is usually a prelude to rain 😔 Forgot to mention that late last night neighbour G knocked on the door & asked if we would mind being the key holder whilst the family went to Scotland to visit his parents - Ooh not sure I want the responsibility - anyone would think I was a grown up 🤣 He did sweeten the request with a box of eggs 😂  Now I just have the 25 eggs to use up, so whilst I remember I will cancel next weeks egg delivery by the milkman ……….. ✅  DH has just activated his new Nectar card & has all his stolen points back 👏 

Great work stellata 👏 Rather a good idea to just whiz round & pick items up to donate & get them straight out of the house 😊 Hope you get a chance for a bit of rest this weekend as whilst lovely to help family it can be exhausting 😉

Dfw38, DH has a WHOLE cupboard of treats 🤨😂 Now of course I am curious as to whether you have a treat stash 😉 Even better that the toys didn’t reach DS’s room - means you have more space in the living room 🥳 Hope you have a lovely afternoon doing crafts with your DC - a win win, using up stash & keeping the dc occupied 😉👏 Box 4 looked interesting 🙂 Good luck with Box 5 🍀

Typically the rain has just started (12:48) just as I was psyching myself up to go shopping 😔 DH now has a coffee & a couple of egg sandwiches - which I made, as although his leg is looking better it is now more painful 😓 Regardless of the weather I will go out at 14:00 Back to cheerleading 😉
