Reporting in as disposed of tw bags. One of DVDs and one of books onto the charity shelf at the garden centre. I had GS3 with me so we played in soft play and looked at the fishes and I got my two free drinks for this month. A very cheap visit.

I am completely exhausted as I haven't stopped today. DS's room isn't completely finished, but it is a million times better, lots of stuff has gone and the desk is ordered for delivery on Friday. Just threw a load of stuff on Buy Nothing so hopefully I can actually get into my library for work by next week.Sitting down now as am knackered. DS was very excited about his room; it felt like a decluttering reveal at the end of a show
I also just caught him reading a book in bed, so looks like having a bookcase near the bed is helping!

Poor Elmo, wishing them a speedy recovery.
The Guinea Pigs are a family affair, eating healthier than us at the moment!
Day off tomorrow and will mainly be spent tidying and doing chores! When I'm in the office rather than working at home I can't stay on top of it. Doesn't help that every surface and room has carp in or on it and slightly overwhelmed with where to start. Feel like I need to get of top of the decluttering. We don't have a room of doom but house of doom! Lol
Best night the land of dreams as way past my bedtime.16 -
Hi all, the rain went away quite early so 5 loads of washing sorted and I got some time in the garden, another bag of garden waste into the bin. It is quite full now so I will have to ram it down a bit to get the next lot in though ln might have a bit of room in her bin if I get stuck. Also emptied the bathroom bin, watered ln's pots and hanging baskets. After tea I hit the emails and permanently deleted 100 but was losing concentration by then so watched some tv and did some crochet.
I have been down a very small worm hole looking for info on goats. I found a man who hires out goats to help fight fires. They clear scrub land to create fire breaks. It takes 200 goats a day to completely clear an acre
. I thought that was pretty amazing. That's as far as I got
@flowerpots, poor Elmo, I hope all goes well with the op and he makes a quick recovery, hugs for you and Elmo.
@Vulpix so funny
@QueenJess do you mind me asking why are you sorting DH's office? If it were me I'd shut the door and leave him to it
@Florenceem I second the advice to get a shingles jab, I got chicken pox when I was 40, it wasn't nice and shingles can be very painful and take a long time to get over. Iirc Mr SD got it last year and it took weeks to get over.
Right off to bed now, hugs to anybody who would like one
868 - 872 5 loads of washing sorted
873 bag of garden waste
874 bathroom bin emptied
875 100 emails permanently deleted
Take care everyone

1. Write a daily To Do list - only 3 tasks to include MMiM - do this before I go to bed
2. Commence ‘Operation Frog Tickling’ I have an acronym - I.R.I.S. being Identify, Research, Implement, Sign Off
3. Implement a new sleep/wake up regime - start going to bed earlier (target before 2:00 a.m.) get up earlier (target by 9:00 a.m.)
4. Deal with ‘Urgent’ daily mail immediately & the rest at the weekend
5. Don’t put it down, put it away
6. If I spot a mini task deal with it immediately e.g. refill olive oil pourer or salt cellar, stitch up a hole in a garment etc
7. Continue to keep kitchen clean & tidy - before going to bed
Yippee, fridge all clean & sorted out 🥳 Quite a bit of space as I rearranged the contents of the shelves & took out all the droopy vegetables which will be used for a soup which DH will make when he eventually gets home 😉 After the dentist he decided to go to Holland Park, do some walking & feed the very friendly squirrels 🐿️ I only had to throw away the unidentifiable contents of 2 very small jars 👏 Decided to have some toast for lunch & used up the last of the prickly pear jam 😋 Jar now washed, dried & recycled.
1506 Glass jar recycled.
I am now sat down & about to catch up on a couple of my programmes - the clearing down of the TV planner is ongoing 😉 DSis went out - 2 days in a row 🥳 DH finally got back 15:45 with pictures of squirrels climbing up his legs to get monkey nuts 😅 DSis also back now 🙂 Dinner was pizzas compliments of DSis. Wudupa. DSis & I watched Sewing Bee - we both thought that they picked the wrong ‘garment of the week’ 😔 …….. as usual 😉
1507 - 1512 Kitchen & office recycling, newspaper, magazine, booklet, drinks cans - recycled
1513 - 1514 Kitchen & office detritus - binned
No cheerleading tonight 😔 so I will try to catch up tomorrow 🤞

@GrannyKate - Hope someone is taking the responsibility for your DD's car replacement. You trust the garage to take care of it. Does the lorry company have insurance to take care of replacing her car?17
