@Florenceem Maybe a proper phone handle would help MrF? If you g00gl 'old fashioned phone handset for mobile' there are many pictures to show what I mean.

Just decluttered my sandwich for lunch as well, the trouble with having limited funds is that I do things like skip dinner, then am starving and skip breakfast and then eat my lunch at silly am, which leads me to go out and buy food at lunch. ARGH. I would very much like to declutter my disordered eating habits, but unfortunately when stressed, regular eating patterns go out the window, and I am permanently stressed.

£1600+ made on vinted since 2023 ⚜ we could get better, because we're not dead yet - frank turner. ❧ ------------------------------------------------------------------------
Siebrie - not heard of them - good idea - thank you. I worked in the garage - when I finished and looked at photos - they are from 3 weeks ago so don't feel so bad now. I forgot to take photos of the garage right at the beginning of sorting it but photos are of - the mess and wip. Will post how it is now in next post.
Still cleaning to do in the garage and the bags of shredding and cardboard to go plus the sacks of bags to be sorted. I plan to empty the old freezer and get rid. Look forward to getting the new garage door.

I took all my thermal tops (9 of them!) out of the drawer yesterday as I assume I won't need them until next autumn/winter, now. I practically lived in them all winter as I wore them outside under my clothes and also in bed. They did smell a bit musty (although they are definitely all clean) so I put them on hangers and pegged them out in the garden for a few hours to air them. After they were aired I put them in the wardrobe with my winter coats and I put my summer jackets (denim/faux leather etc...) into my main wardrobe.
I do that with clean washing now, put them on hangers out of the washing machine and peg them up outside on the line so I only have to hang them into the wardrobe off the washing line. I don't know why it has taken me 47 years to think to do that as it saves time!
I have started another donation bag. I cleaned all my trainers at the weekend as I will be mostly wearing them and sandals now instead of boots. I have put a pair of Zara trainers in the bag as well as the top that didn't fit me. I forgot to ask if my brother's girlfriend wanted the top at the weekend. I bought the Zara trainers last year from a charity shop and they are flattering and nice, but they pinch my toes so they have to go!
Yesterday was spent unpacking from being away and uu food from fridge. Also managed a couple of admin tasks and made an outline plan with OH for the week re the priority order for clearing both properties.
One pair of new shoes to a rellie as they don’t fit me.
Just washed up for the first time since Friday - haven't felt strong enough to stand at the sink. Managed to get down and fill the dishwasher salt and rinse aid dispensers so little jobs being done. I dreaded having to clear the garage - frightened of spiders - only saw 2 small ones. It was a lot of work - no wonder my back is hurting and I will be 73 this year.
